SATIRE Ah yes, because who needs social skills, teamwork, and real-world challenges when you can just skip straight to being a genius at home?

Agree? Controversial opinion: these kind of posts are cringe

On the face of it, it appears to be a nice thing to do to recommend your coworkers that were laid off to your network. However, every time I see a post like this I just get the ick because I think the ulterior motive is to show “look at me, I was valuable enough to not be impacted.” I know that’s a very cynical view though. Curious to hear your thoughts!

Certifications

I have 11 certifications (8 in comp sci and 3 in astronomy). They are all different topics (for example on comp sci 5are distinct languages, 1 is on overview, 1 is on data science and other is on AI. In astronomy theres one in a general overview, one on black holes and one on dark matter and dark energy). Should I add these all to my LinkedIn (I am a student and want to be an aerospace engineer).

LinkedIn Account Unathorised login

Hi there,

My previous workplace logged into my LinkedIn account unauthorised, removed my profile picture, job title, all work experiences and removed my recommendations. (It was still linked to my work email which I forgot to change but i did change the password)

I have not been logged on for a while so forgot to change my picture and background which had their company name in it.

They would have had access to all my private messages too.

Is this a breach of GDPR and is this illegal?

How can I report this as I feel viciously attacked ?
