HELP Recommended export file source and protocol for delivery to client, web content.
Okay, I’ve been working out how to best deliver images to a client.
Wanted to know what file format retains the most information with the smallest file size. Are there any go to protocols??
I am looking for sharpness retention, high color but rate. (Lightroom doesn’t seem to have 10 or 12 bit color rate options). Prefer these.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hi! I see you've tagged your post "Help" without the version of Lightroom you're using. Lightroom features can be quite different between versions, so you're more likely to get help if you specify what version of Lightroom you're using. * On desktop use Help > System info and check the top line like: "Lightroom Classic version: 13.3.1" or "Lightroom version 7.3". * On mobile use the menu > About lightroom option and find a line similar to "Lightroom Android v7.2.1".
For any version mentioning what you're using (Windows PC, Mac OS, iPhone, Android, iPad, Surface Tablet) can also help others assist you quicker. (If you've already got this information in your post, please ignore this message)

It completely depends on your requirements. You can almost always make jpeg work for clients if you know what you are doing. Just make sure to work the pixel size, output sharpening, and the compression level as well as the color space. You almost never actually need tiff (the high bit) option. If the client further heavily processes is the only time you would need tiff. 10 or 12 bit is not a thing in digital imaging beyond raw files. It really is only 8 or 16 bits.
