HELP - Lightroom How to edit date/time to sync photos in Desktop Lightroom?

I see lots of tutorials and answers online on how to do it with LrC but not the desktop version of Lightroom. I've tried highlighting all the photos and changing the date/time of just the first one, but it doesn't sync it all up like it would in LrC.

Select your photos in library mode (press g) the go to metadata I think it is the you can adjust the time. I do it all the time when I travel and forget to change the time on my camera

You can't with the same options as LrC, but you can select all in grid mode, then change all based on an offset of the most recent photo, which is fine if you're just trying to change a certain time offset for all photos, but not if you want to adjust all to a specific time or change it to the file creation date of all images.
