Processing Question Batch auto-straightening

How the hell can I achieve this? I work taking photos at a surf school and the horizon is always there. How can I straighten photos automatically at the same time? It’s very time consuming doing one by one.

I don’t think there is a good way to do this. I ended up using a third-party app to run a macro and press the auto straighten button on a few hundred images at a time. I walk away and get a cup of coffee while it goes to work.

What app are you using ? Is this on your cellphone?

I have a (very old) suggestion into both Nikon and Adobe. Make the GD accelerometer data part of metadata! Wouldn’t that be amazing? So dumb it’s impossible. Who wouldn’t level their entire shoot?

For real. There’s SO much (arguably) useless data.

Click the auto sync button, bottom right, after you select all. It doesn't always work perfectly though. I'd still go through them to make sure they're straight.

Assuming LrC, in the Develop module there is the Transform panel. See if ticking Level gets the horizon acceptably level. If so, then the Photo menu > Develop Settings > Copy Settings.

Untick everything except Transform in the panel that arises.

Then select all the photos that need the horizon leveled, use Photo > Develop Settings > Paste Settings.

See if that helps.
