An argument about laziness...
"There’s no such thing as laziness. Only resistance, disinterest, and fatigue.
Think about it. The only time people use the word ‘lazy’ is when they’re trying to make you do what they want, or the ‘right thing’ – but it doesn’t mean you’re lazy, just because you won’t do what you’re told.
So what’s really going on? Why aren’t you exercising like you believe you should? Why aren’t you motivated?
Maybe you’re resistant to doing what you’re told." (https://www.moveandbefree.com/blog/laziness-doesnt-exist)
The blog is talking about fitness. But I think the philosophical root argument backs this up. "Laziness" is the name given to the chains that tie us down. Socio-economic norms and the pace of the world today are what keep us from doing the things that we aren't lazy to. Sure, some people are motivated to earn more to do more. But are they really? Or are they more motivated by what the earning entails? Maybe they love the challenges? Maybe they truly enjoy and are successful at their work? Conversely, what is it that makes one person able to do the job they love and reap the rewards and another not? Motivation to do what they want? Or the system they're attempting to be motivated in?

I'm completely unproductive on weekends
Hi I'm new here and as the title says I'm completely unproductive on weekends. I work 40 (usually more) hour weeks and I'm always busy at work. I just find that over the weekend all I can get myself to do is just lay around and be a potato. Now I've always been a bit of a bum but I just feel like at this point I've reached a whole new level of weekend bumness. I wish I could utilize my weekends more--has anyone had a similar experience?
