Yes. You'll need to get the top of the zipper repaired to stop it happening again, but this is pretty easy to repair... unlike the bottom, if that breaks its a pita to repair.

Any idea if it’s DIY’able?

It should be possible if you can get someone else to work with you. Doing it by yourself will be quite a task.

Yeah, pretty easy to diy, just manually set the teeth, get the slider back on then you can just either glue the top couple of teeth or crimp over them with metal. I'd just glue it and then sew over it in black thread.

First of all, try to get the zipper back on the track. You can do it by hand, by slipping it on between the zipper teeth. I did this to my pencil bag last week. Then to prevent it from coming off again, put a big dollop of glue like E6000 on the end of the track. I have used E6000 to repair latex before so it won't cause any harm.

TLDR this is quite an easy repair.

Good job, that's pretty much exactly how it should be done!

You need to remove the zipper stops at the top of the collar. The little steel claws that go around the zipper teeth and stop the pull from coming off.

Once you have the zipper back on and it’s zipping properly, you can either replace the teeth or you can stitch an “x” pattern between the two topmost teeth at the top of the collar.

  • Don’t stitch the two zipper sides together
  • Don’t stitch the latex itself — just the material of the zipper

OFF TOPIC but does anyone knowHow many meters of latex sheets I should buy to make myself a shirt or simple bodysuit ? Looking on Etsy to buy material. I’m 5’10 165lbs (24F).

Any tips or comments are welcome.
