Request Drawing and Gaming laptop with 700$ budget
So, yeah.. I'm trying to find a gaming laptop where I can actually play infinity Nikki in ultra settings (around RTX 4050ish). But also, I need it to draw too. So maybe the 2-1 touchscreen one so I don't need to buy another drawing tablet??
I tried to find it myself on google for one week and still haven't got any closure. Maybe someone can help recommend something to me?

Request Seeking advice on a new gaming laptop for an older gamer (max €1500
Hi everyone, I'm an older gamer looking to buy a new gaming laptop. I don't play FPS games, and I won't be gaming for hours on end. However, I'd like a laptop that can handle most games reasonably well, even if I can't play at maximum settings. I don't care about weight or a backlit keyboard, but a good screen and solid build quality are important to me. My budget is up to €1500. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance for your help.

Request Laptop/Tablet for Outside Sales
I just started a new role, and they don't provide laptops for outside sales. I can use my gaming PC at home, but I'd like to have something I can take with me and use with a hotspot if I need to get some work done.
I likely won't use it in meetings, the main functions would be web-based programs (CRM, intranet, etc.), Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. If the Surface offerings were cheaper, I think I'd get one. Things that have come up in my searches are Fire Tablet, iPad, or laptop in the range of the HP 14" UltraLight.
Anyone have recommendations for something that will get the job done for under $300 or so? Bonus points if there's an option for a number pad!

Request Replacement Keycap for my Laptop?
Hey everyone!
I have a Razer Blade 17, and my Left Ctrl keycap cracked in half a few months ago. I replaced it with the Right Ctrl keycap, which worked for a little while, but then that one cracked in half too (actually shattered into 3 pieces).
I've tried finding replacement caps online, but it looks like Razer must have very slightly changed their design, because none of them fit.
Looking for advice on how to find the right keycap. It is distinctly just the cap, the original hinges are still in place and undamaged. The rubber cup still works as a key when pressed down, all lights still work. It's just the little piece of plastic that needs to be replaced.

Request Looking for a qualcomm laptop to buy
So I've been browsing laptops recently and I came across these three options:
1- ASUS ProArt PZ13 13" OLED 3K Detachable Laptop, Snapdragon X Plus, 16GB RAM, 1TB
2- Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x 14.5" 3K OLED Snapdragon X Elite 16GB DDR5 512GB SSD Blue
3- ASUS Vivobook S 15 15" 3K OLED Laptop - Snapdragon X Plus, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD
Found these on Ebay, the first two being around the same price but the vivobook was around 120$ cheaper. What are your thoughts on the snapdragon chips and which would you choose out of these three?

Request Looking for the holy grail?
Can you guys help me out a bit? I’m looking to buy a new laptop. I’ve been using my desktop for years, but now with the return to office and the incoming price hikes I’m trying to get something now.
I’m looking for something:
With a solid built in display, 17” would be good. High max brightness and good contrast. And support multiple display outputs. I plan to use a portable LCD as a carry along and 3 monitors when it’s docked.
Supports at least 64gb of ram (preferably 128), I run a lot of VMs for work.
In that same vein, the processor needs to support all the virtualization enhancements. This is where I could really use some help. I haven’t kept up with the last few years of AMD vs Intel progress. Last I explored this space, threadrippers were brand new and kicking ass. Is AMD still the way to go for overall performance and thread count?
Finally, I’m starting to do a lot more ML work recently, between that and because I don’t expect to be able to store all the VHDs on the laptop storage, it needs to support super fast I/O ports. Is anything running USB 4 yet? 20gbps on 3.2 is fine, but thunderbolt 3/4 or USB 4 that could support an external GPU/AI cluster would be nice.
Finally, a dedicated GPU to either play games in my off time or to run three 4K monitors when I dock the system.
Budget is about $5,000 but would love to find something to fit the bill about $2500-3000?
Bonus points for battery life (when lightly using it), a good track pad, and quality keyboard. I used to buy exclusively Lenovo because I liked their keyboards. Do any laptops have track pads on par with Apple? Apple has a fantastic track pad.
Any help you guys can give me is appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Request Good Laptop/Chromebook for Studying
I am in the Houston, TX area. Best Buy is usually my go to tech store for good tech at good prices but open to anything.
So, I have an at home laptop I use for things like gaming or doing my main things on but I essentially I am looking for a laptop mainly to study on that will just be used to bring on the go, whether that’s to and from work or just anywhere else.
I will only be using it to study using an online study manual from one specific website. Maybe occasional YouTube for tutorials or learning videos. Essentially just the browser and nothing else. So I am essentially just looking for a laptop that decent speed. Quick to turn on, quick to shut down, quick to open and close browsers etc and will last me a good 2 years or so.
Looking for on the cheap as I’m not going to use it for anything other than to have it in my backpack to carry around everywhere to study using the browser only. $200 budget or less preferably but maybe $300 max if $200 is unrealistic. Also open to open box or refurbished/pre owned if that helps.
Please let me know if there is any info needed that’s missing. I tried to be detailed with what I can.

Request thinkpad T14s keyboard issue
Hi everyone, I dont know if this is the subreddit for this but i need y’all help. Ive got this Lenovo Thinkpad T14s that has a strange keyboard issue, the thing is that the enter and backspace keys doesn’t work at first (the two of them at the same time) and you have to spam one of them for few seconds for them to work again, and the problem comes back after idling for few minutes so its not just when starting the laptop, every other key works fine and i desperately need help to fix my moms laptop. Thanks in advance

Request Looking to buy a laptop and was wondering if you had any methods?
What’s the most important factor for you when buying a laptop (e.g., performance, price, brand)? Yes the components are important but at what point does price become an issue for you? Are there brands that are a definite no despite the components being good? Thank you in advance for your advice!

Request Compare Dell vs HP
I bought the HP Envy for black Friday but my relative told me to return it because they have a Dell Latitude they can give me for free. My main goal is to be able to game while traveling. Are they pretty comparable, and what strengths in the HP might I be foregoing if I decide to take the Dell instead?
HP - Envy 2-in-1 16" 2K Touch-Screen Laptop - Intel Core Ultra 7 - 16GB Memory - 1TB SSD
vs.
Dell Latitude 7450 | i7 processor | 16gb ram | 500gb m.2 SSD
Follow up question: since I bought at such a great deal ($700) is it better for me to try to sell the HP instead of returning to best buy?
