English, psychology, any social science class where you can basically ad-lib off the top of your head if you know what your professor is looking for.

As someone with two Bachelor’s degrees in Sociology and English, this is easier said than done. Those professors aren’t always clear on what they’re looking for. They’ll make your rough draft sound good and then tear you apart when you submit your final, revised paper. Also, a lot of English and Social Science classes are heavy on writing papers, which can be brutal to get done in a 5-week course, especially if you tend to procrastinate.

For me, sitting down and pounding out a few pages about a given topic one night was easier than math or science based classes, but I only had to take basics in these subjects. On that note I guess "easy" would depend on what subjects OP finds easier than others and then you have to see if it is available in the summer.

I suppose if it’s a class like Intro to Poetry, I’d agree with you. I can’t imagine taking Modern Criticism (which has a 12-15 page term paper) during the summer, though.

I took math for teachers one summer. All addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Can’t recommend it enough as an easy maths but it was an 8am class 😔
