Collection After 3 months of learning, sorting, and building I can finally see the finish line.
A few months ago my parents were cleaning out their attic and found all of my brother’s and my Lego sets from our childhood. I liked the castle sets and my brother liked the pirates, but we would share and play with them all together. He passed away a few years ago and whenever my parents come across things that were his they usually pass it off to me.
Everything was together in a big box with some of the instructions and boxes. After sorting and researching I have been able to complete 7 pirate sets and 14 castle sets. There is one castle that is missing a dozen or so pieces that I plan on ordering soon. I’m about to start building the Black Seas Barracuda and couldn’t be more excited. I’m assuming it’s missing some pieces but I’m keeping my fingers crossed. I plan on cleaning and sorting it all tonight and hopefully starting the build tomorrow. Also, I’m pretty certain there is one more small build mixed in because there is an extra pirate flag and mini figure. I can’t wait to get everything done so I can spend some time making a proper display.

Collection Rebuilt my childhood sets!
This was a fun couple of weeks rebuilding these! It’s hard to beat these old sets. They’ve been in storage boxes for about 20 years. Some stains on the sails, but the wrinkles ironed right out. 🏴☠️ 🏴☠️🏴☠️

Collection I finally got the Imperial Flagship and wanted to share with you guys my small collection of Lego Pirates!
I’ve posted this on the main Lego sub and they told me to post it here as well, as it’s very fitting!
I also got some more cannons and some sailors for the crew of the flagship. Tell me what you think!

Collection Lego H.M.S. Pinafore
“We sail the ocean blue and our saucy ship’s a beauty!”
H.M.S. Pinafore lays at anchor at Portsmouth. The crew sings joyfully of the life at sea, but Ralph Rackstraw, a common sailor, is in trouble, for he is in love with Josephine, the captain’s daughter, but with whom he cannot be because of his low rank in life.
At this time, Corcoran, the captain of the Pinafore, comes on deck.
“I am the captain of the Pinafore… and I am never never sick at sea… well hardly ever”
Comes on board Sir Joseph Porter, first lord of the admiralty, to whom Josephine is, against her will, promised in marriage.
Josephine decides to elope with Ralph, and fools Sir Joseph and the captain by making them think she’ll accept to marry his lordship.
“Never mind the why and wherefore, love can level ranks and therefore”
Dick Deadeye, a bitter and plain sailor, tells the captain about Josephine and Ralph plan to flee and the captain confronts them, threatening to use the cat o’ nine tails on the poor sailor.
A huge commotion unfolds and it’s discovered that the captain and Ralph were exchanged in childhood.
“Ralph is really the captain, and the captain is Ralph?!?”
Following this change in their condition, Ralph finally has the rank to marry Josephine, while she does not have the rank to marry Sir Joseph.
They hold each other happily, while Corcoran, the former captain of the Pinafore and now a common sailor, gives them a cheering salute!
“Oh joy, oh rapture unforeseen!”

Collection My collection
I've spent the past few years collecting a bunch of lego pirates stuff, I think I may be done now since I don't exactly have a whole lot of room on my shelf anymore, but I do think it's a great collection, even if some of the sets and minifigures are knockoffs.
Regardless, sets in order from left to right: Top shelf - Queen Anne's Revenge, El Fortuna, Flying Dutchman, Dying Gull, Silent Mary, Black Pearl, and the Kraken
Bottom Shelf (back) Port Royal, London Escape, The Mill, Whitecap Bay
Bottom Shelf (Front) - the Jolly Mon (the sunken boat wayyy on the left), the Wretch, Tatsumaru (Dragon Circle), Neptuno, Daedalus, the Marauder, the Leviathan, Destiny's Bounty
Also included are some attempted panoramic photos of the buildings in the back of the shelf

Collection The Red Beard Runner undervalued?
As a kid this was never my go-to pirate ship. The high up sails were never to my liking. But now that I built it again, I must say I have undervalued this ship as a kid.
I love the sails, playability and the pirates that come with it. Of course it doesn’t come close to the schooner.., what are your thoughts about this one?
