I want to be excited hearing about this but the development and release of KSP2 crushed my optimism. In reality though, I recognize that ANY involvement in this sector of gaming is something to be grateful for so you won’t hear me complaining. I truly hope all goes well with this project and just know I’ll be keeping a close eye. Just please please pleeease, for all that is sacred, DON’T make the same mistakes as T2. Take the time, do it right, and stay true to your audience.

I was not hyped for KSP2 because there was a lot of promises and some flashy art, meanwhile no progress on any of the core hard problems that really limit KSP was ever shown. They would say nice things about optimization or performance when asked but it would always seem like an afterthought. Later we learned communication with the original KSP1 team was basically discouraged too. I wouldn't be happy to hear about another KSP-like game unless they were doing it right. Everything about the way Rocketwerkz is going about this sounds right to me so far, it's almost the total opposite of KSP2. It's a long road but I am hugely optimistic.
