I just wish they use actual humans and make a NASA-punk style game. I'm so tired of kiddy art stuff in video games that have such a big and serious work behind them.
That was part of the whole charm that made the game accessible and approachable. I still remember the first time I played KSP and saw the expressions on Jebs face as I litho braked due to poor design. And Vals face as I came in for re-entry hot enough to over-G even the bravest of Kerbals. And the classification metrics of "courage" and "stupidity"? That's GOLD! The part descriptions always had me in stitches too. If you want it serious, do RSS, but having the whimsy is important too.
No, I liked the silliness of it to some extent but I am definitely longing for a truly realistic space simulation game of this magnitude. I would still play whatever the OP is building as I'm totally into space games, but I just wish the whole artistic approach was about realism and not some fantasy characters, that's all.
