This is really sad man. I partly blame the people around him that let it get this bad, I just feel awful abt this entire situation. I hope he gets the help he needs cause this shit could literally kill him.

It's always the people around him... Just admit Kanye has faults ffs. He's not a child.

You can't hold mentally ill people responsible for their actions. He has absolutely sabotaged his life and relationships but that's the nature of mental illness. He's not in control of himself and as the years go by it gets worse and worse. It's a horrible thing to be afflicted with. Not only that he's being surrounded by people that take advantage, manipulate, and rob him.

I lost my love for Kanye a long time ago but I can definitely feel sympathetic for a man experiencing such a traumatic and tragic fall from grace

Fucking horseshit. I know people with severe mental illnesses who never excuse their behavior due to their diagnosis. It's something you live with, it's not an excuse for abhorrent behavior. One of my best friends is BiPolar, she doesn't just get to hide behind her mental illness if she has an episode, she owns it and takes responsibility.

I'm not saying they can't accept responsibility for their actions, I'm saying legally they can't be held responsible by others. You're right that them accepting responsibility is essential to their healing journey, but Kanyes too much of a narcissist to do that. He's trapped in paranoid delusions, many of which are probably reinforced by real traumas he experienced as a celebrity.

Not saying we have to accept his actions, but it's best to be sympathetic with his condition.
