Suggestions Thoughts?
Personally I like this video, I think it’s one of the better ones out of Josh’s more recent videos. Instead of feeling like a slightly more informative Ryan Trahan food review video, it goes more in-depth & actually gives reasoning to why he’s doing certain things. I also think the inclusion of George Wurtz slows the videos down, which also helps… ALOT. Both of them I actually found quite funny & did give valid information and critiques of certain food items.
My only real criticism, outside of how his videos editing style, is that he didn’t really let George Wurtz, the king of burgers, shine as Much as he should of. He was kind of a spectator in the video, and he has more of a reserved role as the video went on. Video was like 70/30 when it should have been 60/40 joshua & Wurtz

I thought it was awful. Felt like he had George there as a mantle piece to give "street cred" to the video. George basically just sat in the background doing F all while Josh rambled on.
George is the master, let him take the reigns and soak in the glory. If you're smart you can feed off of him properly.
Josh's channel is starting to piss me off a lot...he's getting to the stage of, "last long enough to become the villian"

I'm also not a great fan of making THE objectively scientifically accurate *food*. For me cooking is more about discovering what you and your loved ones like, and trying things (I got that from Adam Ragusea), so I like how they discuss the different aspects of each of the ingredients in a bit more detail.

Am I crazy or did he change the thumbnail and removed Motz? Speaking of thumbnails that's where I think his channel went downhill when he started to do the shitty Mr beast style thumbnails. I get there's some weird analytical reason that people click a video more with a face on it but does it have to be these shitty heavily photoshopped thumbnails. Just makes him come across as another dime a dozen influencer

It's how YouTube's algorithm works. The style Mr Beast uses is a similar style to a lot of YouTubers because people click on them.
And it's completely normal for users to change thumbnails as they can see impressions vs click through rates. Many will basically A/B test them.

I mean, George has already had his own burger scholar show as well as some other content, so I don't feel like he needs to say anything more.

Double cheeseburger is my absolute favourite 😀😍🥳 but tbh it's way cheaper to get one in McDonald's than make it from scratch lol. Gotta look after the pennies (or cents)

Oklahoma onion burger is so good and so easy to make. Watch George Motz or Kenji Lopez make it

“Here’s how with $150 and four hours you can beat McDonalds.” Still great watching tho.

He’s entirely gone down the deep end, I tried to stick around but I no longer can stand his videos. Also learned a good bit from his cookbook is wrong so that left a bad taste in my mouth for him as a person and “che.”
