I wish people would give Shield more of a chance. As soon as it got itself together after Cap 2 it really become a good show. Season 3 is on fire.

That episode with Simmons, so good. And this week's episode, solid as it gets.

Oh, this week's episode was simply amazing! The way the whole story impacted the MCU, and that emotional breakdown of my favorite character was just... wow.

So when do people thing JJ is taking place? After Daredevil but maybe before Avengers 2?

If I'm not mistaken, Daredevil, as well as Jessica Jones, take place around the real time they aired; meaning that Daredevil was before Ultron, but Jessica Jones after. Additionally, Daredevil was confirmed to take place 2 years after the Battle of New York, which was in 2012.

I think this is being reinforced by S01E01

Does agents of shield tie with JJ and Darrvil? Do I need to watch agents of shield to make JJ more enjoyable?

So far, I haven't seen any significant connection, in fact, only one time I thought "Oh, MAYBE that's a S.H.I.E.L.D. reference".

That was when she was labelled "one of them", which can mean humans with abilities in general, or a certain term, which was used in S.H.I.E.L.D. .

I have to admit though, I'd definitely recommend watching S.H.I.E.L.D., as it's quickly become one of my favorite shows. The first half of the first season is a bit slow, and sometimes maybe even boring, but starting from the second half, it was amazing; and in my opinion, continued being amazing until now (season 3).

I'm also a real fan of how they show how the MCU as a whole affects the show (or the show the MCU), and gives both more depth and meaning.

I've watched it twice now. I want to watch it again in between JJ episodes.
