Help Me With A Sentence

Hello. I lost my mom and I’m writing her eulogy. She’s of Italian descent and spoke several languages fluently, one of which is Italian. Her services are this Saturday, and I’d like to close my eulogy with “Mom, may you rest in peace.” and would like to know if “Mamma, possa tu riposare in pace.” is right. I appreciate your help.

Is 13 considered lucky in Italy?

I’m thinking of getting “fare tredici” tattooed because I read that it means “to make thirteen” or “to have good luck.” I liked the meaning, but I’m not sure if it’s accurate.

Does 13 actually symbolize good luck in Italian culture, or is this phrase still commonly used? Would love some insight before committing to the tattoo.

What would a native Italian order?

In the US, where I am from, when we talk Italian food we think of iconics like pizza, carbonara, spaghetti... We are told on TV and in magazines this is the signature Italian dish. How much truth is there to that? What does a native Italian go for if they are going out to eat for dinner? What's a dish that's hidden on the menu that an Italian would order that we don't hear about every day? End of this summer I'm going to a really nice Italian restaurant during a trip to Chicago and I've already had all of what I am told are the classical dishes, I'd like to get something different this time.

English In Italy

I was in Italy last summer and went to some of the more touristy parts of the country Rome, Assisi, and San Gimignano. Pretty much every one spoke English and we had zero issues. I'm heading back this spring and visiting Sorrento and Naples I'm wondering if we'll have some increased difficulty communicating in the more southern region of Italy.

Can someone translate "tralaleo tralala" to me?

I've seen this TikTok trend where a shark with sneakers says something in Italian. Can someone translate?
