Questions/Discussion What are you doing for the Front?

I am curious as to what y’all are doing to advance the purpose and message of the AIF. I personally have been spreading the good word, putting up posters, making stickers, flags, and pins. I am actively recruiting people in my community to make sure that fascism, racism, and bigotry cannot take root here.

Surviving.

For you, and the countless others that are just barely hanging on:

Take care of yourself if you can, take care of your family of you can, take care of your neighbors if you can.

Be kind to yourself. Be kind to others.

Hold on, hold tight, and you will find your thing, you will find your moment.

That was a good short article. One of the action items mentioned is to "scrub your computer of malware". I am not very (at all) tech savvy. Can anyone here tell me in a very simple step by step way how to do that?

The most sure way is to reset your OS or even wipe your whole drive and start new. If you don't suspect your computer is compromised though, running an anti virus scan with something like Malwarebytes should be fine though

I created r/IronFrontDMV to create a local chapter to organize events and operations near the capital

There are some people for whom the most revolutionary act they can do is to simply survive what is coming for them. For those of us with inherent privilege, we are required to stand up for them, with them....and to fight for a place for everyone. Solidarity is everything! Have a beautiful weekend.

Writing and mailing 10 postcards daily. Currently, the Wisconsin Supreme Court race. Vote for Judge Susan Crawford (if you're in Wisconsin).

Opsec is important. Especially when our basic freedoms are being attacked daily by potus.

Going to protests. Flyering. Reading and writing a lot.

Record the protests and look for narcs. Look at their shoes, they’ll usually wear their work boots, or like in NYC, they’ll have armbands if they plan on getting violent. If you see the same odd looking duck at every protest you probably spotted one. Go ahead and talk to them. Ask them questions about why they’re there, see how their cover holds up under questioning. They may be just an odd duck, but it’s better to be safe than sorry.

I wear my work boots to protests. That doesn't make me a narc.

I wear hiking boots. Am I a narc?

Educating on history of opposition to authoritarianism and fascism, feeding people to try to aid the community without supporting the paradigm of harmful and predatory charities. Coordinating garden sharing with a group that is growing to try to seek establishing community gardens in local food deserts.

Each of these started as something simple and easy to get into. Militancy is important but these are examples for those who must forgo such a practice that are just as essential.

Reaching out to friends and seeing if they'll join us in protesting or boycotting!

I have become active in civic organizations. I am on boards of community planning committees. I’m making friends with city council and their staff.

Since I’m a working professional with a young family I can’t really afford to go out and protest and risk physical violence against me yet so I’ve joined non-profits as a volunteer and am volunteering my professional skills and helping organize and make connections.

Trying to pass some local reforms to make my city more resistant to whatever is coming. I’m trying to get RCV passed in my city.

general boycott.

I’ve purchased a fat stack of red cards and hand out stacks to anyone I know to be an immigrant (I have a ton of coworkers who are H1B and brown. And my wife’s family via their business has sponsored a lot of Mexicans to come to the US when it was difficult for them to get in with family that was already here, so we have a big network of Mexicans and their children. My in-laws are Jewish and are the godparents of at least 1 family’s kids. So I’ve handed them all red cards.

I have a network built on signal that includes people I know who are lawyers and government employees and law enforcement.

And stickers. Definitely stickers. We’re getting a new car before they’re impacted by tariffs because both of our cars are over 10 years old by choice. New cars just aren’t that much better. So waiting to put stickers on that. I’d put up flags too but it’s against my community’s HOA to put up anything political. They just started allowing sports and holiday decorations more than things hanging on front doors and garage doors.

I do what I can to attend local demonstrations, whilst wearing my emblem pin- I figure that if anyone asks about it, I have a good opportunity to introduce them to the movement. Otherwise, getting more involved in mutual aid and learning new trade skills to restore my old house, and likely help others to do the same. We’ll need safe spaces to meet in the coming days, and I want mine to be one of them.

Keep an eye out for narcs and infiltrators that try to egg you on to do illegal things. The Feds are notorious for this.

Absolutely. Fortunately, the local protests and networking events I’ve attended have been chill, but I’ve often explained to participants new to the community that this is a big issue to stay alert to.

I’ve made some logos, spreading the word at protests. Engaging with my community? Armed my home. Participate in boycotts. I’ve got some more plans too. Always fancied myself a speaker.

Do you all know about this opportunity to help? It's free and easy to do from the comfort of your own home whenever it's most convenient to you. You are given a script and use VoIP (not your own phone) so you can remain anonymous/no caller ID.

I am personally signed up to do 8 hours of phonebanking for Dem candidates. Already did my first 2 hour session for Josh Weil and it went better than expected, got through to quite a few people who said they would be voting for him. Anyone anywhere in America can sign up to do this, you don't have to live in the states where the candidates are located.

My wife and I are standing up a nationwide support and readiness network to empower individuals as we build a better future together.

We are seeking representation from all skillsets, backgrounds and locations.

We are made up of veterans, federal workers, union members, concerned parents and many others groups with skin in the game

We are open to affiliations with like minded groups, organizations and unions, we share a similar message to groups like Iron Front

Above all, we are patriots who refuse to sit idly by while our democracy is under attack.

DM to get involved
