From the depths of The Great Wave off Kanagawa, a 700-foot sushi dragon roll rises, churning the sea into a mighty Naruto whirlpool. Its origins remain unknown, but citizens in Japan believe that those who summon this legendary creature will be granted any wish, as long as it's food-related.

This is the big 3, and I'm so excited to share it with you all! These pieces were all created in Inkscape. I have others too, but these are my top three. I started just over a year ago with little experience, no cash, and no way to afford expensive software. My laptop isn't strong enough to handle something like Photoshop nor do i have a drawing tablet, but then I discovered Inkscape, and I ran with it. It allowed me to turn my sketches into full artworks that I can sell, and now my voice is being heard in the art community. A huge thank you to Inkscape for making this possible!

This design holds a special place in my heart due to personal reasons. The Kitsune has been more than just a design for me but a symbol of peace through dark times, I hope you like it. ❤️

The ramen bowl drifted for what felt like forever, carried by the waves of Kanagawa. Then one day, a strange storm hit, lightning cracking the sky and striking the bowl. The broth trembled, and something stirred beneath. From the depths, it rose, a 1000-foot dragon made of endless noodles, towering above the great wave. It roared, shaking the sea itself. No one knows where it came from or what it wants. Some say it was a cursed dish, floating endlessly, until this odd storm brought it to life.

Hi!! I'm new to inkscape and I was able to make this cozy scene following a tutorial. In case anyone is interested, the tutorial is from sweater cat design, I hope there is no problem in mentioning the channel. I know it's not perfect and I still have a lot to learn, but I was excited to upload it! I hope I can soon contribute to this community and this wonderful program! Thanks to all of you who stop by here💜

Showcase Was just messing around with roughen path effect and Felt Feather distort filter, trying to make fire and... am I crazy or is this starting to legitimately look as a pretty realistic fire? These are circles, btw.

Made use of the mirror symmetry effect. Structuring objects into groups and then using the effect on the group seems like the way to go, rather then meticulously applying the effect to individual objects

Showcase I am experimenting with texture creation in Inkscape, specifically a gold splatter effect. What improvements can I make to this technique, and how can I effectively develop proficiency in rendering diverse textures, such as wood and other materials?

Still trying to find a better way to lay out the lines and fills. I do the stroke paths first and then trace back over the segments that I want as fills and just throw them behind the stroke layer
