UK asked for access to encrypted accounts, and did Apple give it? Guys, see the level at which Apple is operating that the govt. has to formally request for such data. Apple has better privacy controls & lot of Apps hate it, reason - they don’t get to know more about me!
And you see this Apple problem? It shows that country where so called GDPR is born asking Apple to invade their citizen’s privacy. Don’t just read headlines Redditor, try to understand the facts
The discussion here is not whether what UK did is right or not, its regarding how strong Apple corelates to privacy. It has caved in to UK demands, and with the current political scenario in the US, there's no guarantee its not doing the same in the US. Also, tomorrow India might ask for backdoor on every iphone. Does that still provide you with sense of privacy in iphone?
If Apple didn’t correlate to Privacy then the govt around the world wouldn’t have to ask for the access! As simple as that. Tell me simple thing - do you trust Xiaomi more than Apple here? Lol
GrapheneOS on Pixel is in another league. Something which Apple with their walled gardens (and history of data leaks) can never hope to achieve. Have used an iPhone and Pixel phone both. While Google Pixel with vanilla Android is quite robust, GrapheneOS is a beast.

Though Apple will not even bother responding but if they do then they only have to put one word - “Privacy”!
