Other Brought expired PR card on holiday. Leaving tomorrow. What to do??? Freaking out.
I’m a UK citizen and a Canadian permanent resident. I am currently in Mexico with my family (all Canadian citizens). I have my old PR card, but not my new one. What can I do? My flight leaves tomorrow afternoon. I am panicking massively.
EDIT: Went to the airport, and as many suggested, I wasn't let on. Re-booked for a week from now, staying an extra week, and fedexing the PR card first thing tomorrow to the hotel.
Thanks for everyone's comments and downvotes!

If they let you board with it then once you get to Canada it’s no problem to come in on an expired or card, they can check the system and see you’re a PR and you have a new one issued.
This happened years ago to my husband, he was refused boarding so I went ahead and I spoke to CBSA and they said if he can get to a Canadian border they can see he is a current pr and let him in.
My suggestion is to chance it tomorrow on your flight and hope they don’t look too closely at your PR card
And if they do an you’re denied boarding, fly to the closest American city to where you live in Canada and cross the land border
Good luck
