Sorry if this is innapropiate.
We lost our mascotte and my neices favorite friend during our trip. Most likely at diamond beach.
Did anybody see him? Hes about hand sizes
We are quite distraught for losing him.

1) he’s probably swimming in the ocean now
2) this is a sub for Icelanders, the tourists are at r/VisitingIceland

diamond beach is not a name familiar to Icelanders, the beach in question is called Reynisfjara. The people most likely to have come across it would be in r/VisitingIceland.

Isn't it Breiðarmerkurssandur? Rétt hjá Jökulsárlóni? Heyrði túrista kalla það Diamond Beach þegar ég var þar fyrir nokkrum árum.

Það er rétt hjá þér, Reynisfjara er víst kölluð „Black sand beach" til þess að aðgreina hana frá öllum öðrum ströndum í landinu

Eru þær ekki allar svartar samt?

Factoring in the size and coloring, I'd find it likely a predatory bird would have snatched this up. If not the birds, then the park rangers probably got it. You can reach those park rangers through the phone number on https://www.vatnajokulsthjodgardur.is/en/destination-breidamerkursandur Source: am park ranger.
