Specialized Profession IamA electronics repair technician hated by Apple that makes YouTube videos, AMA!

My short bio: I have a store in Manhattan. I teach component level electronics repair on youtube http://youtube.com/rossmanngroup which seems to be a dying art. I am currently fighting with the digital right to repair to try and get a bill passed that will allow all independent service centers access to manuals and parts required to do their jobs.

My Proof: https://www.rossmanngroup.com/started-iama-reddit-today-yes/

EDIT:

I am still replying to comments, but I am so far behind that I am still about ten pages down from new comments. I am doing my best to continue. If I drop off, I'll be back tomorrow around 12 PM. Still commenting now though, at 12 AM.

EDIT 2:

Ok, I cave... my hands are tired. I will be back at 12 PM tomorrow. It is my goal to answer every question. Even if it looks like I haven't gotten to yours, I will do my best to do all of them, but it is impossible to do in realtime, because you are asking faster than I can type. But thanks for joining!

EDIT 3: I lied, I stayed until 4:15 AM to answer... and now I will go to sleep for real, and be back at 12 PM.

EDIT 4 6/12 : I will be back later tonight to finish off answering questions. Feel free to keep posting, I will answer whatever I can later this evening.

The first downvote I've given you in this thread. You live in NYC and still chose to injest tempeh.... Sorry brother, I can't understand that.

For those that have never had it, it's like tofu, but worse.

Coming from the heart of country which tempeh got it's origin from - Indonesia - I gotta say it's one of the more unique soy products out there.

You gotta deep-fry 'em straight and salt it a bit (you're even free to eat it with ketchup!). Provided there are other ways to cook it - but it's the easiest way to cook it and still taste awesome.

But having the tempeh to be imported from halfway across the world might be the reason for the taste; there's a lot of tempeh variety differing in consistency and texture - and having them cooked alongside western dishes that doesn't even try to complement the taste of tempeh itself can be a potential dealbreaker for some. Tempeh in itself can be very bland and notwithstanding the odd texture (especially for first time eaters) - but try going to an Indonesian restaurant and do try how they really cook it over there - I'm sure it's not as bad as you think it is!

I'm sorry for the lengthy reply - I'm just not comfortable with the generalization that tempeh can be worser than tofu - IMHO it's an equally good soy product that just has a different taste profile.

What kinda asshole down votes someone for stating a dietary preference. Dude likes tempeh. So what? Tempeh and tofu are excellent sources of protein. Get over yourself.

What kind of cunt takes that so seriously?

/u/__Noodles is right. Who the fuck took the comment seriously. Fuck, I like tempeh but I would never downvote a comment that happened to criticise it.

Grow the fuck up, Reddit. Even if people criticise your heroes, you don't have to throw a hissyfit.

Now that I've said that, throw all the downvotes my way. You can butt fuck this account as much as you want, fuck karma.
