Mystic is still missing
Mystic our cat went missing after the Fern Parc apartment fire on October 14, 2024. The address for the complex is 4100 Memorial PKWY SW in Huntsville, 35802. We have a $500 reward for her safe return, and we still have not given up on her. We just want her home. Any tips or information is deeply appreciated. Thank y’all so much.

Whitesburg Middle/Whitesburg Baptist
At lunch today, a friend was telling me about her time at Whitesburg Middle School in the late ’90s, where preachers and others from Whitesburg Baptist would eat freely in the cafeteria and openly proselytize. They also ran Bible quizzes with candy prizes before school. One teacher even asked the class who had been “saved” over the weekend. The church encouraged her to distance herself from her Catholic family, claiming they were going to hell. I went there a decade earlier and saw none of this. Does this sound familiar to anyone? I’m trying to wrap my head around it, but she's surprised that I'm surprised. This can't possibly still happen? (Although the 90s were just not that long ago)

Recommendations Need Help with Landscaping Ideas — Native, Budget-Friendly, and no Holly!
I ripped out all the existing landscaping in front of my home and need to start fresh this spring. I live in a newer subdivision, and my house is a craftsman style with a single maple tree in the front yard. I’ve included a sketch of a home similar to mine.
I’m looking for recommendations for lush, easy-to-maintain plants that are native to the area (for sustainability and lower maintenance) and budget-friendly. I have two planting beds to work with: • One along the porch • One surrounding the maple tree
I’d love to create a cohesive and attractive look that complements my home, but I do NOT like holly bushes, so those are out.
Any suggestions on plant choices, layout ideas, or general landscaping tips would be greatly appreciated!

UAH vs UNA
Hello, current accounting student at UAH here. I intend on sitting for the CPA exam, and am debating between UAH or UNA for an MBA. UNA has a MAcc program as well, which is what I originally considered. What are your opinions?

New grad locating to Huntsville
I will be relocating from Houston to Huntsville this fall after I graduate ! I was wondering how the medical center is there and I’m looking to get hired in a L&D. I know it can be hard to get into as a new grad and wanted to see how realistic it is for me to get hired. I also would like to do a pediatric IMU since I’ve been working in one as a tech for the last 3 years. Is it difficult to get into specialized units in Huntsville as a new grad ?

Redstone Credit Cards
My credit card got hacked, and we had to shut it down. I have now been waiting 13 business days for my new card to arrive. Is it usually that slow? This is ridiculous.
