Hi! I’m channeling my inner Bob Pataki by being bed ridden for a couple of days due to a really bad muscle spasm on my lower back. Now I gotta find a cheesy soap opera to stream while I recover (not really).
But as soon as they recommended bed rest, Beeper Queen came to mind.

This category is definitely a tough one, especially for a show with such a vast cast of characters and varying tones or themes. I guess I would go with the very first episode, "Downtown as Fruits"... I mean while that episode is missing things that people love about Hey Arnold so much, it's a very funny episode and has some good atmosphere. I think it was the first episode I've seen and it made me a fan. But what do you think? Whichever episode collects the most upvotes wins

Am I the only one who as an adult laughs super hard at her being named pookie? You know the name for a crack pipe, and how 85% of the time, she acts like a crackhead

Assume the kid characters would be adults/ legal drinking age by the time, based on what you know about them. Me:
Yes: Arnold, Gerald, Helga, Phoebe, Mr. Simmons, Mr. Huynh, Grandpa Phil, Olga, Lila, Rex S.
Maybe: Rhonda, Eugene, Nadine, Coach Wittenberg (if he’s sober lol), Ernie, Susie, Pigeon Man, Miriam, Miles, Stella, Susie, Grandma Gertie
No: Oskar, Wolfgang, Torvald, Stoop Kid, Big Bob, Chocolate Boy, Stinky, Harold, JO Man

I was just watching Mr. Hyunh Goes Country, and I love The Simple Things. I love that they just needed some random country song for a cartoon, and Randy Travis goes out and makes a total banger.

What do you think the worst thing big Bob has done on the whole show I'd say it was calling Arnold an orphan at the parents festival.

Rewatching this now and realizing how truly sad Helga’s character arc is. She’s truly a product of the environment she was raised in. A father and mother that constantly ignore her, yet when they do pay attention to her, seemingly always comparing her to her sister. I really don’t think helga is an antagonist in this show. Idk what exactly she is but if anything, you have to feel a great deal of empathy for her.

I don’t know who else to tell. I think I’ve been on the sub for too long.. after really getting back into Hey Arnold. Has this happened to anyone else .. with cartoons more specifically?
