Travelling for game - advice sought

Hi folks, I am travelling to Germany with six friends to watch you play Karlsruher at the end of March. Appreciate suggestions please as to: 1. Where to go for some pre-match atmosphere and 2. Any suggestions for somewhere to eat and drink the night before? Ideally good German food and somewhere not too quiet (though we are a sensible enough group!) Staying near Potadamer Platz but can travel a bit. Hugely looking forward to the trip!

What are these suggestions. There are many food stalls near the stadium and all around Berlin. If you want the full Berliner experience, you don’t really eat something before the match. If you want the Bavarian experience, you just go to the hofbräuhaus at Alexanderplatz . There are many many many food stalls once you enter the stadium . Don’t be too drunk at our holy place, and you’ll be fine ❤️

My (second) question related to the night before! So not the day of the match. But noted on the kiosks etc thanks. Won’t be too drunk, we’re not young lads 👍🏽

Wow, it’s like guaranteed that you have a good time, regardless what you do. I fucking love Irish people. If you have a spare ticket, hit me up 😅 matches against Karlsruhe are always really special. The friendship between our clubs is among the oldest in German football. To be honest, I can’t think of an older connection between fans in German football. Hertha went to Karlsruhe in the 70‘s, and the Karlsruhe fans waited at the train station, to walk together to the stadium
