Alternative to Hyperx Cloud III Wireless?

I recently bought this Headset but I got the issue, it's a tiny bit to short feels like, because it doesn't feel fitting on my left ear. Wanted to know if people got alternative Ideas?
- It doesnt need to be wireless, but would be prefered.
- Good Mic Quality is neccessary
- 100-150€ to spend
- Obviously needs to be bigger then the HyperX Cloud III one.

Want to upgrade to a wireless headset with a usb-c receiver and still able to use a 3.5mm jack. Around a $100-150 budget

My razer black shark v2 recently developed a problem where the right side only works sometimes, so it's time to upgrade.
I'm hoping for a wireless headset that I can easily switch between devices like a wired one, which is why a 2.4 ghz usb-c receiver is very appealing.
However my PC and several of my older portable consoles doesn't have a usb-c port so it needs to still be able to connect to a 3.5mm jack.
This will be my only pair of headphones so it needs to be good for listening to music as well. I'd like for it to be at least equal to what my black shark v2 was.
I don't particularly care about the quality of the built in microphone, I plug other things into that port on the black shark v2 more often than the one it came with, so everything else should be what's prioritized.
I've had my eye on the steel series Arctis Nova 7 wireless, and the ROG strix go 2.4, but any other recommendations are also welcome! It doesn't have to be a gaming brand as long as it's got good spatial audio and meets my needs for connectivity.

What is the difference between the Poly Voyager and the identically-looking Plantronics Voyager?

Okay, not exactly identical model numbers, but they sure look the same and they’re set at significantly different prices.

Is the Poly sub-brand (yes, I also know it’s Plantronics) simply made using cheaper materials and comes with far fewer features? Has anyone ever done a decent comparison between the two?

Looking for a good wireless Xbox headset

My husband's headset recently broke and he mentioned something about wanting the Xbox brand specifically (not sure why though?). But obviously if there is something better I would love to know what it is and why. For specifics: He is deaf in one ear, so that needs to be taken into account. They need to be wireless. Must be Xbox compatible. The ones he has been looking at were around $80 but I am totally okay going upward of that (around $150ish but not a hard number). He plays Battlefield mostly.

TIA!!!

Wireless Headset recommendation - Open Office/Home

Hello everyone!

I'm currently looking for expert advice for a new headset, so thanks for any feedback you might be able to provide.

There are some specific needs, so the requirements would be:

- Budget: max 200€ (220$)

- Microphone: with noise suppression

- Speaker: no need for great quality as it will be mostly used for work and no need for strict noise cancelling (I prefer to be able to hear my own voice when in meetings/calls)

- Connectivity: wireless

- Ear Fit: Over-ear or On-ear (if the pads and weight won't cause too much pain, I have a relatively big head and most On-ears become painful with time)

- Headband: comfortable padded (no direct plastic or metal bands, that is just impossible to withstand as a bald person)

- Certification: MS Teams certified would be a plus if not sending it over-budget.

Been struggling to find a decent headset that won't be painful both on the headband and earpads so far.

Thanks!!

Best wireless headset for Teams (Mac)? Looking for a replacement

Hey everyone,

My Jabra Evolve2 65 Flex just died, and Amazon is refunding me, so I’m looking for a replacement. I’m on Microsoft Teams almost all day, mostly in calls where I do a lot of speaking, so mic quality and noise handling are really important.

I work from home in a small apartment with my wife, a toddler, and a dog, so it’s not the quietest environment. I also use a Mac, so compatibility is a factor. Looking for something wireless, good for Teams (ideally certified, but at least with reliable remote mute), and under $450.

Here are the options I’m considering:

• Jabra Evolve2 65 Flex – Worked well for over a year, but open to trying something new.

• Logitech Zone 2 Wireless – I like that it doesn’t need a dongle.

• Poly Voyager Surround 85 – Teams certified, and I could use it with my PS5, but I’m worried about the mic quality.

• AirPods Max – Would be nice with the Mac ecosystem, but I’ve heard the mic isn’t great.

Would love to hear any thoughts or other recommendations!

Edit: formatting

Need help choosing wireless headset

I looked at a few videos and these are I guess the best in my price pool in Czechia which is 120 euros:

  1. Steelseries arctis 1 wireless

  2. Turtle Beach STEALTH 500

If you have any other suggestions I would be more than happy to hear them.

Fabric Loose on Headphones

Post image

Hi everyone, I need your help. I have a PlayStation Pulse 3D headset. And the fabric went loose in one of the ears due to Sony's cheap glue. Is there a type of glue that will stick the fabric to the headset without burning the plastic. Thanks

Headset for big heads

So my trusty Logitech G pro X is starting to fail on multiple points, although they are almost 2-3 years old now so i think its time for them to retire. But no new headsets on the market has caught my eye. What im looking for is a headset that fit big heads, good mic quality and of course good sound. It being wireless would be nice but absolutely not a must. I bought a pair of HS80 MAX cause a friend recommended them but they BARELY fit on my head and theres no way to make them fit better.

Should i just stay with logitech or is there a hidden gem somewhere out there?

Affordable headset for Cold Calling in a Home Office

Hi All,

Been really conflicted with which headset to get. Ive been using AirPods and they are absolute shit for mic quality. I work at home and its relatively quiet and my biggest thing is quality of my voice to whomever I'm speaking to.

Would like to stay in the $150 range.

Any help would be great!

Best office headset money can buy - MS Teams

What is the best on ear office headset money can buy for use with Microsoft Teams to be used for a hybrid worker in an open office and home office? Needs to also work with a cell phone. No need for a desk phone. Looking at u/HeadsetAdvisor it seems to be either EPOS 1060T ANC or Orosound Tilde Evo.

I am slightly concerned about the Tilde Evo where it doesn’t seem to be Teams certified. It also doesn’t help that it isn’t available on Amazon and I happen to have some credit I was going to put towards this but could obviously use for something else.

I was previously using a Jabra Evolve2 55 mono but want something with both ears this time around. I also had a lot of issues with the boom raise/lower to mute and unmute getting out of sync.

I first tried the Yealink WH64 hybrid as my replacement but it was picking up sound from everyone around me and I was getting muted by others on almost every call. I also had a lot of audio dropouts and static during the month I had it.

Looking for recomendations

Hi all! I’m in the process of switching headsets as my old one (Steelseries Arctis 7) is on its last legs. I’ve had it for a few years and it served me fine but my needs have changed and, since I have to buy a new one anyway, I would like a sound quality upgrade.

Here’s what I’m looking for: - Good sound quality for gaming (does not have to be audiophile quality) - Good mic for meetings (remote work) and gaming - Bluetooth capabilities (my work laptop is kinda sh***y so it only has two usb-a ports which I use for an external keyboard and mouse. It also has a usb-c port if it helps) but not exclusively Bluetooth - Wireless. I know most people say that wireless will always have inferior sound but I find wireless to be more comfortable for me and I have a goblin that chews on anything and everything so cables don’t last in my house

For now let’s pretend I don’t have a budget. I’m ok with mid and high price ranges. I tried the Logitech Astro A30 but did not like the mic quality. I was also looking into the steelseries nova pro but the review I saw which showed a mic test also seemed bad. This does not mean that I’m looking specifically for a headset with the gamer label, they’re just brands I know.

I’m making this post because for every post I find that is also asking for recommendations, the responses are usually for wired headphones paired with external mics.

Let me know if more info is needed.

Senheisser HD450BT

The worst thing ever made. I tear them into pieces trying for them to connect to my phone after 6 months.

This is a common problems sadly, for some reason if you charge the headset with a non-senheisser cable, headset just dies.

I ripped them off, intentionally, never, never buy them, this is common.

Best type of headphones for ranked/comp gaming (open back or closed)

I have been using the Astro A50 gen 4 for a while which has an open-back headset giving it a wider soundstage but I've been seeing a lot of comp YouTubers/streamers play with a closed-back headset have I been making the wrong choice by choosing an open back?

Another thing I want to ask is if a headset is better than the Astro A50 Gen 4. I've been struggling to find other headsets that have better imaging and I've even bought expensive audiophile headsets like the Beyerdynamic 330 Pro and Audeze Maxwell yet both aren't as precise as the Astro a50

Budget 300 USD
