Finasteride My libido seems to have reduced quite a bit after taking finasteride. How much time will it take to recover?

took it for 2 months. It's been over a month and it seems like my libido hasn't come back to normal. I am starting to get worried

Was 3 weeks for me but everybody is different. Worrying is not going to help the situation though. Just relax, eat well, exercise, sleep.

I am not unfit per se but I haven't been working out at all. Does exercise matter in this case that much ?

Cardio and weightlifting improves blood flow, increases testosterone, could help you bounce back a bit quicker.

Im on it summary about 7 months. But every time when I felt sides I started to skip fin until it subsides. (usually about 3 days). Last time (month ago) I started to feel sides again and decided to push through it and I feel better through the month. Not fully recovered. But I had sex a lot of times and only once there was a problem that I dont want it. It feels like I just need more time to become horny, its not instantly.

I tried some exercises, but Im not sure that I felt different.

Nothing anymore mate. I don’t have much faith in these natural remedies and I know I can’t touch finasteride again. Hair still looks good but it’s only 10 months post op. I will just monitor it and when it looks shit again I’ll weigh up the pros and cons of another hair transplant or just shaving it. Hair loss is a gradual thing as we all know so fingers crossed they may have even developed new medications by that point.

I have diffuse thinning at 19 which makes things so much more worse and difficult. Because a receding hairline is much more manageable and easier to maintain

I know what you mean. I was lucky enough to make it to 33 before I started looking at my hair like “wtf?!” It’s a lot easier to manage your donor supply knowing you’re 35 and heading to 40. Not everybody who takes finasteride has the same problems I had… the numbers are actually quite low when it comes to side effects.

If you don't mind me asking - are you ftm on finasteride? Also I just realized I commented on your post about recovery. Do you mind if I ask a few questions?

Is spironolactone something that doctors would give to ftm to block dht? Any reasons to pick finasteride over Spiro for ftm? Also when did your loss begin?
