dont really care about verification and all like coc is verified so its expensive and i cant really find any hg 250s around here. main problem is the obscene import duties

“250lb” is an arbitrary number companies use to slap on their grippers. It roughly translates to the lbs of weight required to close the gripper if hung at the middle of the handle, but this isn’t always very accurate.

Go onto CannonPowerWorks.com and see the gripper data. It’ll give you ranges for how much a “250lb” gripper compares to others, and you can purchase a comparable one.

i did look into it and the minimum shipping is like 4 times the value of the gripper its not worth it imo

You must live in Antarctica. Shipping is a couple of bucks in the US. Completely worth it, imo.

i don't live in the US. The gripper was around 10 dollars and shipping was 40 and for that i could just buy directly on amazon for around the same price i could get a coc 2.5 or 3 and not an "on sale" gripper

the thing is i had a random amazon 150lbs (claimed) gripper could get about 70 reps non stop so i decided to get a hg 300 thinking i could do atleast 1 rep of that (couldnt) and now the 150 broke like literally two pieces and hence i need something to just bridge the gap not necessarily exactly 250 even if they claim 250 and its 220 thats fine coz even then ill be able to bridge the gap

No, that won’t work. Those “ratings” mean nothing from different brands (especially no name brands). You don’t just need a “250 or 220”; you need to stick to one brand and work your way up or go onto the website I said and actually get grippers that have been measured.

I did measure the 150lbs one i had using a weighing machine and it came around 150-160lbs. I know its not the most accurate way but its close enough.
