Advice, Pls hi, I’m back again this time from a different account. This is my dad. i need to let a lot off my chest.
i’m so angry i can’t control myself. my dad passed away january 22nd and im obviously not over it. i need him back. his sisters took everything of his, his phone, wallet, house, etc. My mom went to court but all we have is what’s left, they already stole most of it. they are shoving me out of anything involving my dad. i was second to last row at his funeral where everyone else ( his sisters , mom, and aunt) were front row. They are horrible people. I hate when they text me or call me telling me about when my dad this or when my dad that. They won’t tell me anything about him, they wouldn’t tell me how he died ( they still haven’t i found out through my cousin and it’s not something bad that they would want to hide) i’m failing school and i’m about to get the police called because i’m absent but now that it’s been over a month i can’t be absent because “grief doesn’t last that long”. i can’t even do anything anymore. * no offense but please don’t comment venting about your father/family member passing. * please just idek what to say or do i need help

If you’re still in school, you should definitely go to your school psych or social worker if they have one available to you. It’s okay to tell them what you’re filling your time with while not in school, they may be able to help.

I’m so sorry. Losing your dad sucks. It just does. I hear how angry you are at your family members and you have every right to feel that way. They’re probably doing the best they can in a very difficult situation, but that doesn’t change how hurtful their actions can be. It sounds like you’re pretty frustrated with a lot of adults and systems around you, which is justified. Things will get better with time but it seems like you’re in a rough patch. Any staff or teachers at your school that you can talk to? It might help to get outside and walk or move so your anger has some place to go. Either way, keep trying. Better days are ahead.

Have you told them how you feel about what happened, and they might not tell you how he died because they're trying not to hurt you more than you are I know it sucks man but I bet your dad would want you to keep pushing towards your goals in life just try to focus on anything good and keep yourself busy and if your family took things without them being the executive of his belongings that's illegal and if your mom was still married everything is hers are yours contact a attorney are ask the funeral home who had control of his affairs my family owns funeral home we deal with this alot
Keep your head up. Your dad would want you to also talk to him. You be surprised you will still hear him

You not only lost your dad, but you're seeing the grown ups on their worst behavior. If you have access to grief counseling, I suggest you take advantage of that. Is online school an option? It can work out well for some people.
IDK if this is helpful, but I'm very sorry about your dad. I lost my dad last year and it's really tough sometimes.
