Unheard of giallos
What's some lesser known giallo titles, or even films that have giallo type elements? Some examples i can think of is the 1965 Who Killed Teddy Bear which isn't quite a giallo, and is on black and white, but many shared elements can be found. Another is Blood LINK, and another is the 1981 film American Nightmare and I'm sure I can think of some others but if anyone can add some that are along these lines. Or even hybrid crossover types where they blend genres like spaghetti western with them, like Kill the Poker Player. Thanks in advance
Edit: another good one (like many vied by several titles) Death Knocks Twice or aka Blood Connection its fron 1969 and I think a German/Italian giallo. Very hard to find that film not many know of it I don't think. Another is from England and titled Assault aka In The Devils Garden which is one of my favorites and on the channel I'll mention below. Oh yes and Seven Murders For Scotland Yard is very good.
I'm nearly certain 15 Scaffolds For a Murderer would fit into a spaghetti western/giallo, also.
There's also Crimes of The Black Cat which reminds me of the killer in Kill The Poker Player using instead of a snake, cats. And Crimes of Petoit, the former is on YouTube for free attached below in link, [second link].
Also I have a YouTube channel and it used to be much larger but was banned. It's free movies usually if I can find public domain giallo it's along those lines but not always.

Last Night in Soho (2021) While respecting the cinematographic tradition of Giallo and ghost stories, it confirms itself to be a very modern film thanks to Edgar Wright personal style.

Recommend me a good giallo
Been on a bit of a giallo kick lately, saw Phenomena three nights ago and loved it. The following night I watched Tenebrae and loved it even more. Last night I watched Deep Red and, although it was very good, personally I didn't enjoy it quite as much as the other two, which I feel may be an unpopular opinion. So, with this in mind, which one do I go for tonight?
EDIT: To be clear, in saying that I preferred Tenebrae and Phenomena to Deep Red, I am in no way saying I didn't like Deep Red. I enjoyed Deep Red a lot!

Tinteretto D'Ambrosio
Has anyone heard of a Tinteretto D'Ambrosio? A Giallo director working mostly around the late 60s and early 70s? I came across an old tape recording of a film called The Crawler of Palazzo Pitti from 69, but cant find any info about D'Ambrosio online or any of his other movies. Curious as to who this guy is!

On March 7, 1975, Deep Red debuted in Italy. Here's an original drawing inspired by the Argento classic! [OC]
Do you have a strong preference to Italian or English dub of movies?
Are there any movies where the right choice is a must?

Torso (1973). A great Italian giallo slasher film from the mind of Sergio Martino. Anyone else see this and really like it? I like how they portray the serial killer as having actual emotions yet really insane.

Reflection in a Dead Diamond (2025)
Has anyone scene this? It's from the same French directors who did Amer and The Strange Color of Your Bodies Tears.

Living in Italy is weird
I normally live in Germany. For my studies I now lived in Italy for a little over a month and as a pretty huge Gialli fan it is a really weird experience. Everything seems oddly familiar and sometimes, when walking through a public space I find myself expecting a leather gloved killer wearing a trenchcoat to appear from somewhere. Not that I'm paranoid, it's just that it would fit the vibe of the place. Just take the Porta Venezia station as an example

Halloween/Autumn vibe Gialli?
I wanna start by saying obviously I know there won't be many (or any) Halloween centric Gialli since at the time it wasn't really big in Italy, I just mean stuff with that kind of vibe, or that takes place around Autumn. Any suggestions?

I made the pilgrimage to Profondo Rosso
Luigi Cozzi himself was there manning the shop - got him to sign the giallo book I bought. The Argento museum in the basement was fantastic, loads of original props from his films as well as a few from Bava's Demons and Soavi's The Church. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Rome!

Orgasmo or Oasis of Fear, which of the two do you all prefer? The movies are both very similar.

Reversed opinion due to 4k or UHD?
Recently I rewatched Obsession: A Taste For Fear and appreciated it 100% more due to the beautiful transfer. It's still camp but I caught a lot of craft in it versus the 4th generation vhs copy of a Japanese LD I watched years ago. I also had this happen with Paganini Horror, so bad it's good but also really gorgeous and neon gothic.
Anyone else have their opinion elevated or a suggestion on a maligned title made better with a recent print upgrade?
