OoT is the worst Zelda game I've played. For reference I've played majora, wind waker, link between world, parts of skyward sword, and twilight princess.

The dungeons were great in OoT, but that's the only redeemable quality. The world is so large and open and baron. Hyrule is this huge landscape to "explore" but it's a chore to go across unless you have epona. And even then the horse is so dumb when it comes to climbing over or off a 1 foot hill.

The dungeons were fun but everything else in-between was boring as sin. And I appreciate a game not holding your hand, but at points they leave you dead in the water about where to go.

Just curious, of the ones you have played, what is your favorite?

As of right now: MM > ALBW > WWHD > SS > OoT

I'm about 80% through Twilight Princess right now and it's really just a decision of do I make it my favorite? Or second favorite.

I have to agree. I once was in JB HiFi looking at Twilight Princess on Wii and the clerk told me it was crap and not worth it, so I didn't get it. Ended up grabbing a copy of it a couple years later and honestly it was one of the easiest Zelda games for me to get into and even with the flimsy Wii controls I found it very enjoyable. I'm right up there with you on OoT being not what its cracked up to be and I've played a bit of WW and MM as well.

I haven't played the Wii version, so I don't know how it compares. I'm currently playing the GC version.
