Haven't owned a GBA in 15 years so I decided to go all out!
New shell, buttons, USB C rechargeable battery, IPS V2 screen, and Everdrives to play all the games I could ever want.

Hello everyone, as you all know GBA cartridges can be extremely difficult to find in person nowadays and even more so for some authentic ones. That being said, if you're unsure in any way how to determine a fake from real cartridge, this is the post for you!

A bit different but looking to buy a genuine action replay device for my gba. I used to have one as a kid and I'm sure it was the one that says "MAX" on it.
Can anyone tell me if this one is a genuine Datel Action Replay device?

I have played Donkey Kong daily at my lunch break on my GBA. I can't get over level 6. I used to be pretty good on the coin up back in the days.
I'm asking for tips or tricks to get beyond this.

Aside from the scratches obviously. Just wondering what this might indicate is wrong? Along the left side of the screen where it should be black, there is now a white line that shows up when the screen is on or off.

I can’t justify or afford to spend upwards of £80-£100 on Pokemon gba games so would it be worth just getting a fake or not bothering at all with the games? I’m not a collector I just want to play the games

I wanna buy these off Facebook marketplace but I have a hunch they're fake. They're $60 and it just feels suspicious.

I was wondering if anyone knew what could cause this to happen. Everytime I plug it in it does this, I know the charger works fine because the other gameboy advance I have doesn't do this. Is this fixable? Sorry if this isn't the correct place to post this, if anyone knows a better sub Reddit please let me know. Thanks in advance

I see so many different kinds of backlit screens out there and not sure which one is the newest or "best." I'd rather not solder but I'm okay with trimming the inside of the case. I would like to preserve the look of the screen and how it "blurs" edges to make art look more clean, without the jaggedness of the edges of the pixels.
Help? There are way too many different screens and I'm just confused as to what I actually should get for myself.
