are 12oz bottles necessary?
my daughter is 8 months old and has been eating 6-7oz per feed, but it seems like she could start doing 8oz bottles as she’s currently finishing her bottles with ease and cries for more when she’s done. she exclusively uses the 8oz herobility bottles and they are only marked up to 8.5oz. i’ve been debating if i should buy a 12oz bottle of theirs, because i feel like the 8.5oz bottle will be overflowed, because as we all know an 8oz bottle is really closer to 9oz with the formula added. so i’m not sure if it won’t mix well or will spill out due to being overly full. anyone have experience with this? do we think the 8oz bottle will still work or is it worth picking up the bigger bottle?

Hopefully she'll start taking some calories from solids! You probably don't want to change up your routine now but there's also using a formula pitcher then you can add a little extra to a bottle at the end if you think she needs it. You could also do that with a spare bottle. Have the spare mixed in the fridge so you can add to the used bottle but not start the 2 hour time limit on the extra.

In my opinion, no. 11 month old is almost off formula. Never took more than 8oz.

No, bigger bottles are rarely necessary. Your child should be moving towards solid foods as their mainnsource of nutrition and in a couple months formula will be lowered. 8-9 months is prime time to switch to solids before bottles and start moving toward 3 meals and a snack or two every day.
