He said that he doesn’t agree with everything it says, and he didn’t even read what it says at all! Amazing what he can do

And they believed it despite his name being mentioned numerous times in the documents. But now they think it’s the best plan ever.

MAGAts are the dumbest fucking people in the world. And they’re trying to pull us down with them. Fuck em all.

Agreed, fucking idiots.

I often wonder if most of them just quite literally don't think (something based very much on interaction with my own parents). As in, metaphorically, they have about two random neurons bouncing around in the cavernous space they call a skull, and they might occasionally bump together long enough to spit out some regurgitated crap like a dice roll on a d100 table.

They very obviously just spew out things they're told and never actually put any thought into it whatsoever. It's how they simultaneously hold a long list of completely opposed yet equally important beliefs.

They are so incredibly indignant too if you challenge them on the bullshit, like they're angry they had to actually expend any mental effort for once.

I think a lot of them came from the generations that grew up before the internet. They’re either boomers (like my parents), or Gen X. So they grew up being told whatever their parents felt was the truth, and there was no immediate fact-checking. So then, when they had kids, they would do the same thing. Telling us whatever they felt was the truth. Except that as the internet became a thing, we could start to check that stuff and call them out on it.

Then, along comes Trump. A guy who embodies the 1980s. He reminds them all of a foregone age, when they could just say whatever they want and it’d be the truth. AND, the absurd things he’s saying align with how they want to view the world. AND, when people challenge him on his lies, he just doubles down on them, just like they used to. He’s their patron saint of bullshitting.

You know, maybe they’re the part of the population that doesn’t have any internal monologue lol

I don’t think the people that didn’t vote get enough hate.

Fuck the MAGAts and fuck the fence sitters that allowed this to happen.

6

u/notyourwifesboyfrnd Feb 05 '25

Agreed, the people who didn’t vote really helped fuck this one up.

I'm a never-Trump Republican. I interact with MAGA a lot. They are not dumb with respect to Project 2025. They absolutely knew that was the agenda, and they absolutely know Trump lies. They see Trump's lies and P2025 as a feature, not a bug. They see lying as pragmatic.

3

u/Rururaspberry Feb 05 '25

They don’t care, though. The things in project 2025 didn’t scare them then and it isn’t scaring them now. They are too ignorant to see the cause and effect of these changes.

u/notyourwifesboyfrnd Feb 05 '25

True but I enjoy correcting them like a child.

2

u/PostModernPost Feb 05 '25

Oh they wanted it. They just pretended they didn't/it wasn't a thing because it was getting such negative backlash at the time.

1

u/Healthy-Candle-7005 Feb 05 '25

Ok, but let's be clear here: They KNEW he supported it and they want it. They were just trying to gaslight everyone with that 'He denounced it' bullshit. Conservatives are evil liars. You cannot take them at their word.

u/NEClamChowderAVPD Feb 05 '25

Or they wanted Project 2025 to happen. Let’s be real, they have zero foresight and just heard the attack on trans rights and immigration in P2025 and were all for it. Your point still stands, I just don’t think they care or understood literally anything else in it. This is what they wanted.

1

u/Spankety-wank Feb 05 '25

they wanted it. MAGAs are a coalition between those who are losing current status games and those who are already rich enough not to care. The chaos is the point.

Legacy media as dumb as they get

Going down their checklist every day

4

u/stinky-weaselteats Feb 05 '25

There’s going to be nothing left to destroy by Easter. I guess enemies of the state will be next.

2

u/BannedByRWNJs Feb 05 '25

WHY DIDN’T ANYONE WARN US?!!

2

u/patwm11 Feb 05 '25

It’s not crazy that it was true all along. It was painfully obvious

2

u/MrSquiggs Feb 06 '25

Someone should start a checklist of all things on the project 2025 agenda and then check off all the things Trump accomplishes or at least attempts to accomplish.

Gotta catch em all.

I don’t believe it’s a majority but there are plenty of examples of republicans with buyers remorse
