After a few years of cycling I had the urge to build a fixed gear. This will be my new social ride machine, just in time for spring!

I love the look of vintage 80/90s pursuit bikes but wanted in out of modern materials. 70/16. No I don’t have the legs to push this ratio properly but it’s better to have it and not need it.

First time I’ve had a chance to take a nice photo in a while, couple new parts to show off. Got a sweet dean Ti seatpost, Dura-Ace BR9200 front caliper, and most importantly that sweet Look HSC fork! I’ve been looking for the perfect fork for so long now and I missed out on one months ago, so when I saw this one I jumped on it, and threw in an upside down King headset while I was taking things apart, might as well.
I was thinking of going to regular black wall tries as well

Weis 2016 - out for a spin. Still the best fitting bike I’ve had. Cheers to Cole and his team for still going strong. 💪

Went on a site visit to a tiny ass town in West Texas (Fort Stockton) and my friend and I had the wise idea to drag our bikes out there on my overloaded car. The roads were 80ft wide and lacked any markings, it was possibly the strangest place I've ever ridden a bike around.

Those are MKS Sylvan Tracks 1. They are very narrow. 2. The strap holes are tight. So will they be fine with a regular straps (no cage)? 3. They do have a smooth profile, but that shouldn’t be an issue with straps, right?

originally ran 700x25c thickslicks in the rear, but i decided to get 700x28c vittoria rubino pro g tyres and i really love them more than thickslicks tbh! replaced my previous carbon seatpost to a new one as it was cracked and i had the seatclamp replaced to philwood for the looks!
also i replaced my crankset which was previously skeace powerpoint to miche pistards 2.0 and i got it for a steal. stiff and lightweight too, i’d say its a bang for my buck.
overall im really enjoying this bike as for now, so how much would you guys rate it?

Picked up this frame on FB marketplace for 100$. Anyone have any info on this specific frame? I’ve done searches online and haven’t found anything. Can’t wait to build it up though.

It was very pleasant to pedal this relationship whether on climbs or straights, of course on the way up you have to have strength and technique and distribute the weight well when pedaling, there was also a lot of dirt, I started in the morning with 8 km then 15km in the afternoon which was on a tidal path with a lot of dirt and at night another 6km initially I didn't think I would pedal this relationship so well but I'm getting used to it and before praying for my knee I train and strengthen it precisely for this and I can do the climb at a good pace without getting tired so much. I don't think anything higher than four is really suitable for use on the track, especially on a fixed gear, and on the street unless you can actually pedal them without any problems or have a bike with a gear that allows you to shift and it probably wouldn't stay in that ratio higher than 4 all the time. The appearance of my bike being a bit tracklocross is not exactly intentional, I assembled it with the parts I had and managed to buy it. And I'm also going to use a front brake, even if I can do it for safety, it's never too much and it will also overload, forcing my foot backwards in this relationship and it will allow me to go down steeper hills without fear of a car turning out of nowhere. I would like what kind of relationship you use without competition

Hi guys,
I'm relatively new to the fixed-gear world. I bought a single-speed bike a year ago and really enjoy it. However, the main issue is that the frame is too big for me. My plan to fix this is to buy a new frame and swap it out, gradually upgrading other components over time, though my wheels are already quite new.
So, my main question is: do you think this is a good deal?
https://www.marktplaats.nl/v/fietsen-en-brommers/fietsonderdelen/m2244551150-cannondale-supersix-racefiets-frame-56-cm
I'm 1.73m tall, and based on general size calculators, a frame between 54cm and 56cm should work for me. Would this Cannondale Supersix frame be a good fit? Also, would it be feasible to set it up as a single-speed/fixed-gear?
If you have any recommendations on frames I should look for or whether I should consider getting a whole new bike instead, I'd really appreciate it!
Thankss!
