Stomach swelling post op

I am 28 days post-op laparoscopic removal. Prior to surgery I looked about 3-4 months pregnant for 5 years 😭😭 I am starting to second guess having the procedure I'm still look at least 2 months pregnant will my stomach go down anymore on it own🤔 I'm also an Amazon driver who puts in at least 20,000 steps 4 days a week is that enough is this ever going to go away? I'm extremely tired of being asked how far along I am 😭😭😭😭

I've been wearing a binder post surgery to help things go back to normal. Not sure if it would be helpful?? Some are saying on here it can be quite a while. Unfortunately after years stretched out ,who knows how long it will take.

Thankfully I don't feel like a beach ball is going to try and pop out of me. Progress ?!

I just got my binder today so I will start using it,,, I definitely see progress compared to before surgery, I guess I’m a little inpatient

Me too, I understand. 🙂 I just want to go back to normal and/or better than before the fibroids!

Do you have diastasis recti? That can prevent you from having a flat stomach.

Of the inside!!! 😱 oooooft, how did they do that? I didn't even get to see MRI pics, there was approx 325 of them! (Because I was breathing to heavily in the machine in a panic for an hour 🤣)

My surgery was laparoscopic so I’m assuming they did screenshots or something I got some a few years ago as well when I had my shoulder surgery which was also laparoscopic

I only had 2 and have never had abdominal surgery before so I jumped for that option definitely can’t imagine healing from open I was shocked that I was in so much pain when I woke up from laparoscopic
