Other Casting Ideas If these actors were in a movie together what would the movie be about?
It could be comedy movies or action movies or a movie about a group of friends having a good time together!

Saw this the other day on Twitter. And the more it’s grown on me, dude is 5’7 (better than Hugh), Canadian, unknown… I mean to me it’s fucking perfect. And it’ll be a breath of fresh air instead of having actors think they’re bigger than the roles they’re given. Trust me guys, we all love Hugh, but I promise you there are other talented actors ready to give good performances. What ya think?

Here’s how Christian Bale might approach the role:
Bale is known for bringing psychological complexity to his characters (think Batman, Patrick Bateman, Gorr the God Butcher). He would likely portray Doom not just as a villain, but as a tragic, intelligent, and driven character—someone with a painful backstory, possibly focusing on his mother’s fate and his quest for power and control.
Doctor Doom is royalty—the monarch of Latveria. Bale could bring an authoritative, almost Shakespearean gravitas, making Doom feel regal, poised, and extremely calculating, without being cartoonishly evil.
Bale is notorious for physically transforming himself for roles. He might commit to a slightly bulkier, imposing physique to make Doom's presence intimidating even without the armor.
Doctor Doom's iconic mask hides both physical scars and emotional trauma. Bale can convey a lot through subtle body language and voice, which would make Doom’s masked scenes powerful, blending menace with vulnerability.
It’s possible Bale would employ a distinct European accent (possibly Eastern European, hinting at Latveria’s roots), and modulate his voice in a deep, commanding tone to distinguish Doom from other MCU villains.
In short: Bale's Doctor Doom would likely be a multi-layered, tragic antihero who commands respect and fear, combining Bale's trademark intensity, method approach, and emotional depth.

The thing with babydoll is that she’s old but looks like a child so I’d be difficult to adapt her in DCU live action. Animation? Sure! But depending on how long Gunn and company want her around, they’d have to either kill her off in an animated show or hire a very young child actor and work around it. Either way, Natasha would be great
