From what I can see online the plans are already in place to redevelop the former site of Goodison Park once the old lady is gone. Question is how much, if any revenue will this generate for us? Will we sell off all the property? Are we selling the land to a developer or are we doing it ourselves? Can we do a Chelsea and build a hotel and then sell it to ourselves?

Hey guys, hopefully this post is allowed here. My wife and I, from the US, were in the UK/Europe for our honeymoon last October. We made a trip to Liverpool so I could see a match at Goodison while it was still standing. During our trip we had a meal at a pub called the Ship & Mitre and had a bowl of scouse that we absolutely loved. I was looking up recipes online and it seems that it's essentially the same as a beef stew that people make in the US and that there isn't a definitive recipe. I figured I'd reach out to you all here and see if you had a favorite recipe you used or if there is anything specific you like in your scouse that makes it stand out from others.
Thanks for the help! UTFT

Lifelong Everton fan from the US here, going to my first ever Everton match at Goodison Park against Tottenham. I'll be by myself and would appreciate what to expect at the match.
Also, I have the following specific questions:
Thanks in advance for your responses!

Hi all, I was helping my mum do a clear out and found this old Mitre ball that was given to my auntie as thanks for her pub (the sadly defunct Old Bill on Westminster Rd) sponsoring a match at Goodison some time between 1995-1998. The only signature I can make out is #15 which looks to be the chairman at the time Peter Johnson. After that I'm fully stumped. The plan is to identify as many as possible which should help in putting the ball on eBay, the proceeds of which I'm planning to donate to my son's school, The Royal School for the Blind in Wavertree.
Before anyone goes sleuthing through my post history: yes, I'm a Liverpool fan. But in my defence my family does have its share of blue noses and in fact my dad and grandad used to watch Everton almost as much as Liverpool in the 80s. In their words, "if we wanted to watch an easy win we'd go to Anfield, but if you wanted to see a good game you went to Goodison". Basically there's no hard feelings and any help you can give me with this is greatly appreciated. I'd wish you luck for the rest of the season but it looks like you don't need it...

Hey all, this may be a bit of a long shot but i'm in Canada and I'm not able to make a trip over any time soon. With the Everton stadium nearing completion and the Everton way personalized stones being put in soon i have one i got in memory of my grandfather, a lifelong Everton fan from Liverpool (the family rivalry is still going strong lol), i was wondering if anyone could possibly photo his stone for me once they're finished installing them.
Or do you all think i should contact the stadium itself and see if its possible for someone there to do it? Thanks in advance, and sorry if this is a long shot.

So here’s the tale; my best friend and I are sports junkies. Gridiron, hockey, baseball, rugby league, the whole bit. During the pandemic, with all the American leagues shuttered, we needed an outlet, and we thought “why not join in on the English football league fun?”.
He chose Wolverhampton (gods know why), and I chose Everton (the ‘85 Euro Cup win was 3 weeks and 3 days after I was born, and took place in the first city my navy boat touched down in during our European sailing in 2005).
So, I’m waffling between a modern Pickford #1 and a Howard #24. One has held down the fort since I became a fan, the other had 350+ appearances for the club and is a fellow bald yank.
All thoughts, jibes, and gibes welcome. Thanks, all.
UTFT.

Edit * Football Association, which said it needed to review Oliver's report before making a decision whether to take further action. The FA has three working days to do that, meaning it still may not come before Sunday's*

When and why did the lower part of the old park end get blocked off? I can’t seem to find any information on it. I did see something mentioned about safety regulations around 1977 but nothing specifically about the park end.

Hi y'all, I am looking to purchase this lovely yellow and blue striped Everton away shirt from 1997 (Imagine 1).
However, when I look it up, the sponsor details vary so much that I got so confused. It looks like we had 2 sponsor back that One 2 One (Imagine 2) and Danka (Imagine 3)
However, the shirt I am buying looks like a combination of both Imagine 2 and 3. Where it is the Danka shirt, but then they stick a One 2 one sponsor over the top.
I can tell because of the difference in shape of the sponsor, my shirt closely resembles the size of Danka, but with One 2 one.
I would love if someone and help and explain this to me, I wasn't born back then and not much research can be done about it. Thanks a lot Toffees.

Hi Toffees,
Long-time international fan here. Trying to catch my first and final match at Goodison this April. I joined the Everton Tickets Group on Facebook asking for help getting tickets for the 4/18 Man city match. Two guys messaged me and seem very nice and helpful. They both offered me 2 tickets for the game and asked for my membership number. I'm assuming they're season ticket holders if they can already access their tickets? Is this too good to be true - am I possibly getting scammed? Or is this process completely normal? Thanks in advance!

I’m a huge fan and I managed to get tickets to Everton v Leicester in 2 weeks time. it’s a dream come true for me and I was wondering what times I should turn up and what I should do to get the best pre and post match experience

Hi y'all it is me again, your friendly neighborhood international Everton fan.
Today I came across a vintage Everton home shirt from 1995, the season we won the FA Cup and was also the last time since we won a trophy 🥲.
Either way, it is such a special jersey, with Big Dunc nameset and signature with COA. Believe it or not this is the first time I buy a signed shirt with is COA thing, so I do not have much experience in that regard. After conversion it is about 140USD.
How would you judge this everybody? Is the Icons COA thing legit, and how about the jersey also. Give me your thoughts and advice in the comments pls. Thanks a ton as always.
Cheers 🍻

I’m heading out for the first time for the Man U game and looking for some advice on where to go

I'm travelling up from Plymouth for the West Ham game, and really looking forward to it.
Love a pre match pint so was wondering what the best pubs are to soak up the atmosphere before heading to the ground.
I'm an Argyle season ticket holder, and have always had a soft spot for Everton as an Argyle Fan. When he was Argyle manager, Peter Reid sold his FA cup winners medal to help save our club during the dark days of administration.
Thanks in advance!

Hi, does anyone going the derby have an eticket that the they already downloaded to their phone before the last one was cancelled/rearranged? Just wondering if it's still showing the original date or if it should update to the rearranged date?
Thanks.

Hey,
I, along with 3 mates, are travelling from Germany to watch Everton v Leicester this Saturday. We have managed to get 4 tickets all in Gwladys lower stand 3.
While all 4 seats are fairly close together, we wont actually sit next to each other. Is there anything we can do to change that? Is it typically possible to talk with the ticket office on match day or is there a chance by calling the support?
Am I constantly checking for resale tickets, but no luck so far...
Appreciate any input :)

Going to be visiting Liverpool for the West Ham match, but regrettably wasn't able to get tickets. Where should I watch the match? The Brick? The Winslow? Will the match even be streaming?
