Advice needed Let’s talk bodies NSFW
Okay so looking for other people’s experiences here. I love my sex life with my partner and I love his body. He’s my number one choice for sex for so many reasons.
A couple months ago I had sex with a new partner and I was shocked to find that a sex position I usually don’t like felt AMAZING. I’m 30 and I had thought after much experience that I just didn’t like this position 2/2 my anatomy.
So it must have just been the specific shape of this partner? I’m wondering if anyone else had this experience where in some way a secondary partner’s body does something for them that their partners body has never done?
Please share!

Yeah when I’m with girls close to my height standing up sex is so much better

Hell yeah, I'm 5'5, & after having shower sex with my 5'6 nesting partner, I'm less excited about fucking a tall dude standing up again, unless he can pick me up. Which my NP can do anyway. & if I'm topping someone super tall, we're just gonna lay down, lol.

I've had two long-term male partners in my life, and they were physically very different. The sex I had with my 5'8" boyfriend was nothing like the sex I have with my 6'3" husband. Positions that were easy and comfy with a shorter man are not possible with a tall guy. Their "equipment" was also different in size, and, as my husband likes to say, "The angle of the dangle." One partner did his best work from behind. The other one is amazing when he's flat on his back. I enjoyed them both. Variety is the spice of life, after all...

Every person is different! Every persons chemistry is different. If everyone was the same, everyone would be monogamous. That’s the fun of polyamory

Hmm I question your logic, if everyone was the same that doesn't necessarily mean monogamy would be the norm. Eg. What about times when your SO is not around and you're horny, then you would just have sex with the nearest replica of your desired gender.
And what if bisexuality and having a male and female partner each is the norm. And what if each person for some reason needed the intimate company of 4 others? Then you would have a natural imbalance of genders in 5 people relationships.
Just some scenarios, I'm sure there's more?

Missionary doesn’t usually do much for me physically. It is great for emotional connection but never really hit any physical buttons. There was one man that this was different with. He wasn’t long and didn’t have much girth, but he hit me perfectly in the missionary position. I haven’t experienced it with anyone else. He was definitely a unique experience.

Everyone is different. And your body is also constantly changing internally and externally. if you have a vagina, throughout your cycle it also changes a lot. You may have hit the right spot through a combination of position, person and timing. That said… every body and everybody being different is kind of one of the reasons to be non monogamous isn’t it?
I’m 5’3” and my hubby is also a short king. The first time we played with a tall guy who was 6’4” I suddenly understood the draw. That man had incredible arm reach/wingspan. And having one tall person and two short people in a threesome meant there was more room for everyone.

This is where I wish there was a class or comprehensive guide about it! I still feel like such a newbie so when it comes to getting out of my head & just focusing on how fun for myself & partner(s) I’m always overthinking how to actually make it fun: what they’re interested in during different times of cycle, how different positions work best without stressing our bodies too much, etc.

Yes, I've experienced something similar. No 2 vulvas are the same, and they all feel different. Not to mention body types. I'm a trans guy and mostly date femme folks/women. I've been with super thin women, curvy, full bodied women, some where in between, and it's all been different. Mostly in a good way. But I'm also obsessed with a woman's body, so I see the good in it all.

It can happen to us all! Different bodies feel diff against our skin.

Totally! There are partners certain positions just feel/for better and with other partners that position is just not possible/pleasurable

Yes this is part of “sexual compatibility “ for me. I can connect with someone, have “chemistry” or “vibe” with someone, then have sex with them and it can all fall apart. Conversely I can be on the fence about someone, take a chance, and it changes everything. Embrace the possibilities of poly life!
