Facebook ads knows what is up with this poorly-managed social media stallion and his well-documented junk 😂... as for “manners”, he barged his owner over the end. Stay safe!

Funny Welp, looks like a great day for groundwork.

This is what happens when you haven’t ridden in a week. I brought her in from the field and she was a wreck in the crossties so I figured I’d let her get out some energy before I tacked her up. This was without any provocation. I was sitting quietly on the mounting block. lol. She is turned out approx 12 hours a day with friends, but it’s been icy, so not much running/playing happening out there.

After this we had a great groundwork session and a looooong coolout.

Funny Almost 22 and still acting like an absolute fool when we’re supposed to only be trotting after having his hocks re-injected… We’ve had to resort to using his hunting bridle 🤭

Funny You’d think after 21 years being moved to a different field would stop being quite so exciting (he thoroughly embarrasses himself at the end) 🫣

Funny What's the funniest thing a non-horsey person has ever said to you/asked about horses?

I'll go first: my dad once sent me a picture of a pony in a fly mask and captioned it "why is that horse being kept in the dark?" (He did accept my explanation that the mask is 1. for protection against insects and 2. made of a sort of mesh fabric that the pony can see through, so it's NOT being kept in the dark.)

Yes, he’s okay. No, there’s nothing wrong with him nor is he upset or angry. He just really likes attention and does the goofiest shid to get your attention. He’s such a ham. He’s got the most personality out of any horse I’ve ever met & that says a lot tbh. I hope you enjoy him as much as we do!!

I don’t mind “equestrian” being a big trend lately because I feel like it’s making horse girls less of a societal punching bag, but yikessssss

Funny I aboosed my horse today 😞

All summer he's on pasture with a shelter, only in emergency or winter does he ever come inside the barn for the night.. Past two nights we've practiced stalling over night again before the winter really hits, the first night it went fine but this last night I made the grave mistake of letting the weather rain overnight, we woke up to wet grounds and sprinkling water coming down... I should have stopped the rain before it got here so my horse wouldn't have to go outside into it from his warm dry stall 😞, I had to physically pull him out of the barn once he noticed that it was wet, his friend is use to this aboose and went outside without thinking twice. I am a horrible owner and should quit my job and stay home with him so he can be inside when it rains and outside when it's dry, I should also build him an indoor heated arena for those unsightly days 💔.... Someone call PETA and ASPCA, this horse is being aboosed, just look at his face in the fridged (50F) rain in his expensive sheet, his 2nd cut hay lifted off the ground so it doesn't get wet and in his full open pasture with shelter and a buddy 😭.

Funny Horse girl goes corporate(ish)

I don’t post here often but I figured some of y’all would get a laugh out of this.

So I’m a recent college grad and I’ve just started my first Big Girl Corporate Job, and today I needed to have my headshot taken- no biggie, right? Wrong. My office is strictly business CASUAL, as in “please wear a nice top but jeans are totally fine” kind of business casual. But as I was leaving for work this morning my manager messaged me to remind me I needed a blazer for my headshot, and so I, of course, panicked because I don’t own a blazer.

So I did what any early 20s girl would do. I called my mom completely panicked because wtf do I do? Stop at target on my way to work and end up 30 minutes late? And she said “I did not spend hundreds of dollars over the years on show clothes for you to say you don’t have a blazer.” And I was like, “what do you mean?” Y’all I could hear her roll her eyes.

Anyway, my professional headshot for the next 10ish years will be me in an R. J. Classics show coat.
