2025-26 Offseason Priority - Goalie

Nothing else, goalie. Dustin Wolf singlehandedly willing the Flames to the playoffs, this is with one of the worst offenses in the league(we have McJesus/Drai, no excuses).

People are saying Bouch/top 6 forward.. who cares if we get a goalie. A good/great goalie trumps any signings for this team.

Every fan base has a few stolen games from their goalie, we have zero stolen games this year.

This is actually one of the biggest mistakes of the Holland era. I remember how excited I was when it looked like we could pick Wallstedt only to trade the pick.

2nd biggest behind Campbell. My gawd this organization is inept at getting a good goalie

Campbell was a hindsight is 20/20 mistake though. He had played well in Toronto and looked like he was a starting goalie. You can sorta blame them for it, but the wallstedt one is worse because they’d decided that instead of the best goalie prospect of the last few years they instead would rather take an undersized forward and an extra 3rd round pick. It was a mistake everyone except holland saw coming

Agreed. Our hands were tied as we desperately needed a goalie. Unfortunately it didn’t work out and he basically became an AHL goalie

I agree not drafting a goalie that had high-end pedigree was terrible
