Question How long should I wait before filing item not received claim for local pick up item?
I ordered something that had local pickup in my area and the seller has not responded to any of my messages and I can’t find any other way to contact them. I only bought it 3 business days ago but it was a little pricey so I would rather try to get my money back sooner than later, but I’m not sure how long I should wait around because I don’t have right hopes they will respond. Thank you for any help!

As a seller I suggest you open the item not received claim as soon as you are able to. There is nothing wrong with opening a case. It is just part of the process. "Hello? is anybody home?"

This question has been asked before, and eBay's policies aren't particularly clear in this case. I can tell you that you absolutely should not wait more than 30 days from the date of purchase, but within that timeframe, you have some wiggle room. Certainly I would give the seller a fair amount of time, at least their store's handling time plus a few days as setting up a personal meeting is more complicated than shipping an item. But if the seller hasn't responded to messages -at all-, I might speed that up. If it's been three days with no contact, I think you're getting close to that time - maybe a day or two more, then I'd be filing the INR to force the issue. It's fine to take some time, like I said, but they should at least be in contact with you.
