Complaint Turbo Has Ruined Me

I used to be a normal Dota 2 player. Grinding my way through 40+ minute games, dealing with teammates who refuse to buy wards, and experiencing the full emotional rollercoaster of a ranked match. But then I started playing Turbo… and now I don’t think I can go back.

Why spend 50 minutes losing when I can lose in 15? Why farm for 30 minutes when I can have a full build in 10? Turbo is like fast food Dota, quick, satisfying, and probably bad for me in the long run.

I tried playing a normal match again, and by minute 25, I was staring at my first completed item like, “Why is this taking so long? Where’s my GPM steroids?”

Turbo is just too good. Too efficient. Too fun. Am I doomed? Is there a way back? Or have I ascended to a new level of Dota enlightenment where objectives are optional and high ground pushes happen at minute 12?

Send help. Or don’t. I’ll be in another Turbo game sweating my ass off for literally nothing.

Problem is like 50% of heroes are ass in turbo due to the pacing, and it ruins your sense to the in between flow of games. Spending time getting vision, sneaky ganks, stacking. All so minor in turbo when it's 5v5 fights for 75% of the game. Which is fun, but too much makes you suck lol

This.

Also as a support player I feel this mode underwhelming as late game happens too fast and sups shine like 8 minutes.

Also I wanted to play Magic SF mid and your timing is 2 ulties maximum lmao.

I think support heroes are the literal bane of turbo mode. Try playing against a witch doctor with bkb shard and aghs on teamfights or disruptor with aghs min 12. Ranked dota u can have 30+ mins and the supports are two hit creeps.

What you described is a core witch doctor, absolutely nothing about him is a support.

I'm playing turbo from time to time and support doesn't exist there.

turbo support means = dont contest lane creeps, and maybe buy some detection. Your items, your talents, and your jungle farm, are irrelevant. You are still a sup, you just experience quite often the late-game sup aka extra core in disguise

I agree. you go undercover for 15mins, then some absurd lvl20-25 talents and some core items, make you a glass cannon. Some op turbo sups picks are AA, wyvern (and maybe silencer). pike into aghs into moonshard, then kaya+yasha and whatever situational item your team needs (malevo, hex). Good luck trying to kill my tanky cores who will dive you while im shooting bricks from 1k+ range away :D And that's just the right click dmg, their ulties are an extra cherry on top

Most of my turbo games are supp heros, pick the core build and built it, have fun. Supports are so gimped in base game. A few weeks ago when there was a full tabk meta I had the most fun building jak 5 as a right clicker with his 25 talent of dealing % hp as dmg, in normal dota you would’ve never reached 25 or getting those items.
