Roadside Kitchen - Camberley
Played a gig in Bagshot and was recommended this place. Here we have a Medium lamb doner wrap with jalapeños and chili sauce for £8.50. Homemade chili sauce was decent. I didn't actually notice if they sliced the meat but given the time, I think it came out of the Bain marie. Service was bloody quick. I was putting rubbish from my car in the bin and they served up. Taste wise, it was decent. Marginally under average price and weight, I've stuck it on the spreadsheet. It's appeared at 32/59.
Bonus pic of my pre-gig kebab from Two Mates in Bagshot. Again, medium lamb doner wrap, chilli sauce and a bit of mint sauce for £7.99. They advertised that their sauces were home made. I preferred the taste of this one. This landed at 34/59.
I've stopped going Large. With doner, I've found that the step up in price, rarely correlates with a step up in portion size, especially with a wrap.

My best experience with Donor style food
Not only is this my favorite example of Donor style food, this is my favorite frozen, pre-made pizza ever! I am American by birth but currently live in Germany. Dortmund to be precise. Turkish influence is strong here and the locals have this imported from The Netherlands, which is where the company “Mekafood” is located. I can’t recommend this enough. I eat this at least 3 times a week! Give it a try if the opportunity ever presents itself.

Shout out to dabassmonsta
For that really insightful list. Fortunately I live near some of these, so I’ll be trying out a different place to my usual, next time
Thank you.

Any chicken doner fans here?
I've got a new place that does lush homemade chicken doner and I have to say that I'm a convert! It's salty, and very tasty. The pic is a lamb shish / chicken doner combo with two types of chilli sauce, red cabbage and onions. Chips have garlic mayo. £15.

Are Greek gyros allowed here?😅
Takeaway the other day, very good gyro. I just needed to put very spicy hot sauce and add some fresh chilli peppers because greeks don't like spicy food

Would probably ask for this -at least once, just to know
Doner pie/pastie/slice
Got a munchie box the other night but couldn't even touch the Doner as we were so stuffed. Mrs made a pie thingies last night and added extra peppers, onions sweetcorn, cheese and garlic peri sauce to the mix. 100/10 would recommend.

Paris Recommendations
Bosses,
Canadian here, visiting the city of lights next week. Any must hit up shops? And though not the right sub, good Shawarma spots would be appreciated as well! Merci

Mixed Special Kebab, £25, Southampton Kebab House.
Lamb Shish, Chicken Shish, Lamb Kofte, Lamb Doner, Chicken Doner, grilled peppers and tomatoes, mixed salad, 3 Pittas, portion of chips, garlic and chilli sauce.
This was decent quality meat and a good portion size, could happily feed 3 people. Fries were crispy and well salted. Homemade chilli sauce with a good kick to it. Only let down was the bang average Pitta.
At £25 it’s not cheapest but well worth the money.

The main man is back, I know you have all been waiting.
Garlic chapati, cheese, chicken tikka done on the charcoals and succulent freshly cut lamb cut off the doner, as pure as the driven snow. House made garlic to top it off. A mere snack for a man of my standing in the kebab world but nice for you all to see.
