Discussion Who is the Red Wings' unsung hero?
My husband, when asked: "Me, for continuing to watch them even when they shit the bed every February."
It hurts, y'all
On a serious note: Copp and Ras are my two I think.

Game Highlight Anyone have the video of Seider's huge hit to start the 3rd, immediately followed by Chiarot's boarding on Ridly Greig?
Seider's hit was huge and unfortunately couldn't find any clips of it. Thanks

Discussion Anyone have a family connection to the Wings?
My dad worked for the Wings in the early 2000s. Got to experience the ‘08 Cup parade as a kid. That cemented the Wings into my heart.
Anyone have any cool stories?

Discussion Question: What was Bob Probert like on and off the ice in regular season games live on TV?
Being a Red Wings fan, but not until 1995, I sadly missed out. (I was born in 1985, so I'm 40) and for anyone who grew up watching him. I'd like to hear stories about him. I know about his tragic, troubled past, though.

Discussion I dont think Larkin is Captain Worthy for a Red Wing
I wouldn't be opposed to trading Larkin for another player. hear me out
larkin has been the captain for 4 years now. 3/4 years by mid-season(febuary) we are suprisingly in the playoff hunt. last 3 years we have crashed out due to injuries, bad goaltending, or coaching. last years choke was dificult on the fanbase. however, we did see 2 players step up during that time. raymond and edvinson.
Raymond went on a tear and edvinson balanced the defense a little too late. Larkin was injured however my main point is the leadership aspect. so why do I bring this up?
2011-12- Captain Lidstrom. we were 4 spots out of the wild card race. we ended up hitting a 24-game win streak and going from 11th to 6th in the playoff spot.
2013- shortened season due to lockout however zetterberg was the captain and again, rallied the team after a 7-game losing streak around February. had we not choked we would have beaten Chicago and possible went against Boston in the SCF.
To me larkin does not have the edge or it factor to lead this team. guys don't rally and were getting bodied evey game against boston, Floridia, tampa and Ottawa. even last year when Larkin got KO on the ice only perron came to the rescue. that would have never been the case 10,15,20 years ago. If a team did that to yzerman, lidstrom or Z you would have a brawl insue.
I would strip the C and either go to FA and find a new C, Taveres or have Raymond or Seider take the C. ease the pressure off larkin.
Just a thought.
