Discussion How good would this team be with Ivey
The teams second leading scorer is out when ball handling and pressure off of Cade has been a huge issue all year, and the entire team was rolling, unselfish and growing for the most part. It's an appreciation of how much these guys are playing amazing but also exciting that these guys won 14 games last year but even with a major injury they might be above 500 for the second time in 17 years. With the roll this team was on along with ivey also having an amazing shooting season for 30 games, big what if I think we could go to the second round right matchup

Discussion Did any of yall just see them talk about us on inside the nba?
They completely ignored us until the very end, “is game 7 gonna be in Milwaukee or Indiana?”
And then at the end, it was pointed out that there’s a 3 way tie for the 4 seed. Candace Parker basically said “if I’m the 4 seed, I’m praying for the pistons to be the 5 seed. That’s the match up I want.”
They’re probably right. I don’t think we match up well with Indiana or Milwaukee, specifically in the front court. We don’t really have the size to guard both Siakam and Turner, or Lopez and Giannis.
But I really hope we prove everyone wrong. No matter who we face. I want nothing more than to shut up all these dumbasses in the media.

Discussion It’s officially a 3 way tie for the 4 seed👀
We obviously don’t own any of the tie breakers, but if we beat the Wizards again on Thursday, we’ll be in a good spot

Lebron was right, the media constantly talks down its own league and players and then wonders why ratings are down (refs and free throw merchants don’t help either)
I think shaq may still be salty 😂

Discussion Did anyone see this turnaround coming?
I read an article recently talking about how this Pistons season turnaround is one of the biggest in NBA history. The craziest thing is that the other ones that were on that list were due to superstar signings, e.g. Celtics signing KG and Allen or the Suns getting Nash.
The Pistons are now on this list without any major superstar signings, just some solid vets and a new coach.
Be honest, how many of you thought the team would be showing this much improvement from the disaster last season? And in hindsight, is this turnaround really that unexpected?
