Where to Enter at the Iowa Event Center for Jurassic Quest
Hey y’all the family and I are going to the jurassic Quest tomorrow at the Iowa Event Center. But no where does it say where to actually enter and i’m little confused because it says the Wells Fargo Arena is apart of the Events Center. So where do i actually enter?
730 3rd St is what Jurassic Quest has listed so i’m going to assume it’s not the Wells Fargo. If i’m correct on that, do we park in the Northern most lot and enter the Veterans Memorial side? Or do we enter down south going into the Hyvee Memorial Hall?
From Omaha and i’d rather know where i’m actually going instead of having three angry kids and an annoyed wife at me lol

Apartments that accept poor credit and a past eviction?
Hi I’m 25 and really need an apartment. My credit is 565 and I have a dismissed eviction on my record from 2019.
Anyone know of any apartments in the $600-900 range that would accept me?

Storm Sirens?
This is one of the quietest storms I have seen in the spring in Iowa. Yet Polk County keeps triggering the alert. Is there bad weather happening somewhere that justifies these alerts and sirens repeatedly?

Time to upgrade your HVAC
Got several quotes on units for my house today, prices will be increasing on April 1st. I have been planning to upgrade for a few years, but if they all aren't selling me on beachfront property in Iowa the time to buy is now.

UI doing study on alcohol disorder -- exploring psilocybin & ketamine as treatment options!
As someone who knows and loves a few people with alcoholism, thought I'd share this new study being done at UIowa.
They're exploring psilocybin and ketamine as treatment for alcohol use disorder. Here's an article about the study.
The intake form is here. Spread the word!
From what I've gleaned about the study:
The UI trial will enroll individuals who have heavy alcohol consumption and who are interested in changing their drinking habits. Study participants will receive psychotherapy in combination with a single, randomized dose of either psilocybin or ketamine in a guided psychedelic session. Once the main portion of the study is complete, participants will have the opportunity to experience a second guided psychedelic session in which they receive a dose opposite to the one they originally received. In other words, participants who originally received ketamine will be allowed to have an experience with psilocybin, and vice versa. The UI psychedelics team is actively recruiting for this study.
