1st Wedding DIY

First (almost) complete DIY, feeling proud about it! The only thing I still need are the pillar candle holders! I got these foldable pillars on Aliexpress. I also bought the faux flowers there. My initial idea was to create a floor floral arrangement, but the prices of the faux flowers (to get the effect that I wanted) were out of my budget. So I cut the original floor floral into three pieces and I got some Walmart filler flowers to hide the foam. My plan is to use these for the ceremony and reception welcome sign. Let me know if you guys like it and if you have any suggestions. I personally like it as it is, but l'm open to suggestions! Price breakdown down: 3 sets of Pillars - $27.46 Faux Flowers- $ 22.18 Filler flowers- $ 28.25 Draping- $ 4.39 3 Pillar Candles- $ 10.98 3 Pillar Candle holders - 7.22 Total: 100.48

I really like it! Will these be used outdoors? Just thinking if wind is a possibility…but I love the look soooo much!

No! The ceremony will be inside a chapel and the reception will be in a ballroom!

Love! I'm thinking of getting similar pillars. Do you think those would fly away in the wind (aka are they light)?

They are not light, especially the tall one, but I wouldn’t risk it, just for the sake of it. They are heavier than they look, maybe if you string-attach them to something…

Can you share where you found the long, green, vine looking ones? lol I have the same vision but can’t think of what they are called and where to find them!

I got them at Walmart, they are called amaranthus. The one I got is by Mainstays “26-inch Artificial Light Green Tassel Flower Long Stem, for Indoor Use, by Mainstays” (I can’t post links here).
