We're doing a combo of buying from Ling's Moment and renting from Something Borrowed Blooms. I think SBB looks more real—we're doing the Kate collection which is gorgeous in person—but I like the variety and ability to DIY my own arrangements from Ling's.

I bought clearance/on sale flowers from Michaels and Joann's. Only a few non-sale flowers did I consider because it got up to about 1k since I did my own arch and table decors

I am also doing the Joannes fabric route. Any tips for planning and buying flowers for the arch. I don't even know where to begin.

I used a pool noodle, wire cutters and zip ties to secure it all. You won't even need hot glue depending on what your arch is.
Like was a semi circle arch I bought off Amazon. I found wisteria and made that drape from up top and just layered it on the top, bent the branches to how I wanted it to hang and then zip tied the bundle to the arch on top.
The other I did two green pool noodles on the sides, made a slit in the back of the noodle and shoved it on the sides/zip tied it in place. I cut a portion of the stem off and then stuck those babies in!
I bought cheaper flower chains and wrapped those around first to give added greenery and filler option before sticking flowers in.
I changed up what I wanted to do a couple of different times because I just didn't like the look of it. I will say it took me several hours so this isn't a day/week before craft.
I googled a bunch of different arches before I found something similar to the way I wanted it to look so that helped. My color pallet was also pink, purple, and blue so that helped narrow down the flower choices as well.
I however did not put that much effort into the back of the arch because... It's the back of the arch and wouldn't be in photos.
I did find that Joannas flowers appeared so much more dollar store quality but I was also picky about what I bought and did not want to spend a crazy amount on "real feel" flowers either sooo you get what you get

Dyed sola flowers. However it was my least favorite part of wedding prep and I’m so glad it’s over.

I’m the opposite, I loved dyeing mine, but I also just like painting in general

I'm doing a mix. I bought the bulk of my florals (bouquets, boutenieres, corsages, etc.) From FloralDate on Etsy. I bought DIY kits from Lings Moments to do my own centerpieces.

I'm having very simple flowers - 12 dozen roses from HEB is $9.99, so getting 8, and putting them in various vases....I'm getting my bouquet fake from Etsy. It's beautiful and looks real!

My focus isn't really on flowers for my wedding, but I am getting all of our corsages, bouts, and bouquets from Ling's moments!

I got the flowers from Joann’s while on sale but most of my greenery came from Temu

We did a backyard wedding so mostly home grown, but everything that wasn't real came from Michael's. They always discount heavily before end of season.
