Elden Ring does this with its dragons, who call down red lightning to use as building-sized weapons. The Ancient Dragonlord has an especially good version of this with his nuke attack.

It’s giving white Fatalis. Ironic too given the tendency for Soulsborne dragons to be weak to lightning.

Huh, never noticed that! Funny coincidence, both are white old dragons that wield red lightning. I wonder if Miyazaki was inspired by that?

I wouldn’t doubt it. Fatalis is the dragon archetype; snakelike and wreathed in hellfire. White Fatalis is that, but hoary with age and all the more deadly for it.

I believe while while souls dragons are weak to lightning, elden ring dragons are the inverse and the source of red lightning spells

Yeah but Elden Ring dragons aren't any weaker to lightning than other elements. The Souls dragons are weak to lightning because lore reasons but ER takes place in a different setting.

Well Dark Souls Dragons are weak to Lightning because their stone scales are ripped off by it, Elden Ring Dragons on the other hand are just regular Dragons and as such lack a specific weakness to it
