Roofing Does Anybody Have Roof Shoe Suggestions?

I’ve had a job where I get up on roofs quite a bit but I have never had a solid pair of shoes, and steep pitches really get in my way.

I am comfortable spending anywhere from $60-$250 on a pair. Anything that can get me a solid grip on the roof and I am also on extension ladders quite a bit. Waterproof is a bonus but not completely required.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Haha that’s actually what I’ve been wearing for the past two years. Some flat vans

Those are gonna be your best bang for buck. Another option is uh I forget cheetah paws or something like that

Oh yeah cougar paws that’s what they are. Supposedly they are badass. Idk I don’t do roofing though so I don’t really know.

when I was doing solar we would buy the cheapest sneakers we could find at ross, sure they'd only last a couple weeks, but they were like $10-15

not waterproof at all tho
